This bench was very easy to assemble. All the parts are labeled- numbers for the bars and such, letters for the fasteners, more or less in the order you will use them. It fills a need in my entryway- I live in an area where people take their shoes off when entering your home, but the area at my front door isn't really designed to accommodate that. Plus...I have a small dog who likes to steal shoes! This combination bench & shoe rack gives folks a place to safely stow their shoes and a place to sit down for putting them back on. I love that it is compact and doesn't stick out into the narrowish hallway.2 things I didn't love, and what cost it a 5 star rating: 1- it wobbles. The instructions say to level it before tightening the screws, but there is no way to do that. I'll use a shim to stabilize it, but I shouldn't have to. 2- The hollow metal tubes had sandy stuff in them that fell out all over my floor. Now, I know this is either grit that used to remove burrs left from manufacturing or a function of the poeder-coating process but it really should be cleaned out before packaging.I got it for free a a Vine reviewer, but I would be extra annoyed to have paid for a thing I couldn't level that also dropped sand all over my floor.

This hall tree has totally transformed my entryway—it’s the perfect blend of style and practicality! The rustic brown wood with black metal accents gives it that industrial farmhouse vibe that feels cozy but clean, and the quality exceeded my expectations. 🪵🖤The leather cushioned bench is comfy enough to sit on while putting on shoes, and the open shelving below fits several pairs (even boots!). The hooks up top are sturdy and well-spaced—plenty of room for coats, bags, scarves, and umbrellas without everything looking crammed.It was easy to assemble (just follow the instructions closely!), and it feels super stable and durable. At 35 inches wide, it’s compact enough for small spaces, but still offers a ton of function and storage.If you’re tired of the “shoe pile” by the door or just want to elevate your space, this piece is a total winner. It’s practical, beautiful, and makes every entrance and exit feel a little more organized. 🙌🏽🚪✨

We have a space near our front door that we had been looking for the right bench to fill it with. We saw this one and while it wasn’t really the look we wanted asthecally; we thought with the coat rack incorporated that it might work out functionally. Unfortunately, it didn’t fit the space very well. But it has found another home in our hallway and is a nice addition. The bench is fairly easy to assemble. Just pay attention to which way the holes are pointed on the early steps or you will find yourself doing a few of them over again. The bench is sturdy and has convenient shelving for shoes underneath. The coat rack is a big help for us and went together with no problem. I mentioned the astethics earlier. The metal shelving gives it a bit cheaper feel. But the seat cushion is attractive and saves the day. Of course this is more of a functional piece than decorative and is priced accordingly. I would buy it again but only for an area like a coat room or hallway type location.
