I needed rubbing alcohol for my job and it needed to be higher than 90%. With the shortage in stores due to over purchase by scared people I had to resort to over paying for a product I use regularly. It’s not a bad product, just expensive.

This IMAX product line of isopropanol is an attempt to make money selling what should be a waste product. Good for bio-Diesel. Not for humans. It has a mineral spirits residual odor. Hey why pay to dispose of it properly if they can sell it for money?.

I'm retract my original review, where in I Praised the product, but I complained, improperly, ablaut the container. It was originally titled, Good Price - BAD CONTAINER. My comments above regarding the bung need to be update, 1st. I'd complained that the bung couldn't be removed without a special bung wrench. Actually, it may not be removable, at all. I never had the opportunity to try it with a bung wrench. But, that isn't how one is meant to access the contents of this container.The bung actually need not be removed. It has a threaded blind hole in its center, and one can purchase a valve that screws into that hole at Home Depot, and likely other stores, as well. Simply drill out the bottom of the blind hole and screw the valve into it. Then, drill out the blind hole beneath the small white cap on the opposite side of the jug, and it becomes the vent for the valve. Be sure to keep the cap and replace it between uses, to recent loss from evaporation.BUT, I was completely wrong about it being a god price. But, it comes in easier to use quart bottles, and if you extrapolate out the price for a gallon, it's just $62.00 / 4 = $15.50 @ galloon. At that price, 5 gallons would be, $15.50 x 5 = $77.50. They want $130.00 for this 5 gallon jug. Why bother. Get the quarts and save big time!

The price is a good deal for 99.5% it was delivered in the 5 gallon container that you see in the preview picture, delivery was $40 something dollars which is my only complaint about the transaction. Be warned it does not come with any type of spicket valve or system to distribute.

Great product. 100% satisfied. I had some trouble with the delivery cause I had to be home to personally sign for it. Once I figure that out, the rest was just satisfaction.
