The stainless steel door hasp with turning padlock eye worked well on my sailboat . It appears to have been well made and the turning eye made it convenient to lock the hasp shut without having to use a padlock while the boat is in use . When the boat is not in use , the rotating eye easily accepts a padlock so that the boats contents can be secured . It was also a good size for the hatch cover of my 18 foot boat . I think it is a good item for smaller boats for securing hatches and lockers .

I realize this hasp is only 3", but it so tiny that it appears it can't be Heavy Duty (as the description of it reads). No screws came with it, but I would have used my own in any case, as I did. China made (most everything is), the hinges are loose fitting and if I hadn't used long screws I think the whole thing might have fallen off the door/wall (I put a heavy lock in the turning eye, so I'll see if everything holds).

The pen that holds the hinge is very small and can be broken easily . I wouldn’t to buy another one. Save your money.

The metal is way thinner than it looks in the picture plus it’s hollowed out underneath. Basically false advertising. The screws are way too small for it to be secure. Don’t buy if you want a strong hasp for good security
