It works. This solar powered motion detector light is installed over our outdoor trash container. It collects solar power in the daytime, and at night it detects movement within ten feet and goes on to light the 3' by 8' container so that it's easy to see and open the lid with one hand while you put a trash bag into the container with the other hand -- no flashlight is necessary. It was easy to install -- I hung it on just one screw; I'll add a second screw if needed.

Justo lo que buscaba, la calidad es de primera, buen valor por tu dinero. La potencia de la luz es muy buena siendo que es una unidad de carga solar.

I've tried many other solar lights with limited success. The iThird stands out above the rest. The quality of manufacturing is topnotch. The lights go on at dusk, and when I wake just before sunset, they are still lit. The different modes of lighting are a plus. I like the consistent low light combined with the motion-activated brighter light. I've purchased 14 of these over the years, starting in 2019, and recommended them to countless friends and relatives, who are as happy with the lights as I. The battery went bad in one, and iThird replaced the entire unit for me immediately. That's the kind of service I appreciate.

J'ai eu un petit problème avec la lumière et le vendeur a répondu tres vite a mon appel de service alors je donne 5 étoiles je recommande fortement cette lumière solaire

At first I did not care for the design - sleek and diminutive but a little too modernistic for my building. I am replacing a paintable ceramic light, painted to match my brick such that the fixture sort of disappeared and you only notice the light. The circuit is dead/broken so I needed solar, which has greatly limited my options. Even though this one is white, it is pretty small and not that noticeable, so overall the functionality of it overrides the appearance.I have been operating the light on "strong light sensor mode" (middle option) and it does a great job of lighting my porch stairs and walking path as soon as I open the storm door. Its nice and bright, catches motion from as much as 50 feet away, and the battery can last through at least one dark rainy day of no charging. After two dark rainy days, it eventually loses the charge and has to be turned on for use after it gets a good re-charging. This is not at all unreasonable, and I am VERY PLEASED. I highly recommend this light.Do install it within reach so the controls are easily accessible to reset it after dark days. Also note it is intended to attach to a blank surface, so if you are installing it over an electrical box to replace a wired light as I am, it takes a little ingenuity to attach it so that the in-wall box is fully covered and the light is level; I also used a little weatherstrip around the edges of the light such that screwing it fast compressed the weatherstrip to make the space under it fairly weatherproof.

I have placed several of these on my stairs in Central Ontario Canada. No a lot of sunlight for charghing in these neck of the woods. Overall they still light up when I need them.I use the low ambient setting and then they go bright when motion detector is triggered.I find I have so occasionally reset them as they turn off by themselves, which is why I took away a star.It may be the lack of sunlight and they totally discharge, not sure.Would and have bought again.

I've been searching a long time for a good quality solar light for my home's decorative tile street address number sign, and I've finally found it. I wanted a light with good build quality, be relatively small, be solar powered, and be reasonably priced. This light meets all these requirements. Now, my home will be easily found by emergency personnel at night. The light can be setup to operate in one of three modes:1) Green indicator - the light is dimly on (20 lumens) throughout the entire night. When the light detects motion, it shines more brightly (250 lumens) for some 37 seconds before returning to dim lighting. I tried this mode, but found that the dim light mode was not bright enough to adequately light my home's street address number sign. Since this was my primary reason for using the light I did not use this mode.2) Blue indicator - the light is normally off. When the light detects motion, it turns on very brightly (330 lumens) for some 37 seconds before turning off. I did not use this mode, because I wanted the light to always be on throughout the night to light my home's street address sign.3) Red indicator - always on mode. Bright light of 80 lumens during the first 5 hours after dusk, then a dimmer light of 40 lumens for the following 5 hours. This was the best mode of operation for my needs since the light was on throught the night lighting my home's street address sign. Also the brightness levels of 80 and 40 lumens were just right to allow the sign to be easily visible from the street. One additional benefit to this light is that it uses a replaceable 3.7v Li-ion rechargeable battery which costs around $5.==============================================================================02/20/2019 Update:I ran into a significant issue with using this product to light up my home's street address so that emergency personnel could easily find my home at night. The main problem was that on a day when there was insufficient sunlight, the battery in the light would not be charged enough and so the light would either not come on at all or not last throughout the entire night. The solution was to convert the "solar light" into a low power AC light. So I used a very small AC to DC voltage regulator module inside the light fixture, replacing the solar powered battery circuitry. I then wired a 6VAC transformer in my garage and ran wires to the modified light fixture. The AC to DC voltage regulator module would regulate the 6VAC down to 4.0VDC which I used to drive the LED panel in the light fixture. The 6VAC transformer is controlled by a dusk/dawn detector, and so now I have a perfectly functional address light fixture that works regardless of whether there was enough daylight on a given day.
