The installation is about on-par with other similar lights. The parts are plastic so it's a little bit of a challenge but also to be expected. The lights themselves are plenty bright provided you let them soak up sunlight all day.The instructions on the other hand are pretty confusing. It's unclear which mode on the remote does what and took me a while to get it to go into sensor mode in the dark.

These lights work well. I found the mounting to be slightly changeling. However, could just be due to where I was placing them. I haven't used all functions on them. They are bright enough. And are made with decent materials. I think in the harsh Michigan weather they would hold up for some years. The remote is a great feature considering it is hard to reach them once they are installed. They are designed to be up high like a streetlight. My suggestion label your remotes to which light it is. Love the fact that they are solar powered. I like to save energy when I can.

These lights were installed at a specific point in our property where we had a gate and transfer of surfaces. We wanted this to be an easy way to illuminate this area so no one would slip, trip, or fall. The concept was great, but the light wasn't quite what we expected. The lumens output is described as being high and while I have no way of officially measuring lumen output, I can say that these lights don't put out as much light as lower lumen wired lights. The dawn to dusk feature works well and the secondary brightness for motion detection was good. The hardware for the lights that attaches the light to the mounting area are just not great for longevity. We had one really bad wind storm and one of the two lights snapped off of the mounting surface because the plastic snapped. Despite the fact that the light was mounted tight and securely, it just didn't hold up well. Decent light and would work in small places that don't experience significant weather.

I live in Northwest Montana, close to the Canadian border. Yes. We have bears. Sometimes the bears are in my yard. I go to work between 430 and 5 o'clock in the morning. Bears like the morning. I like bears. I like mornings. I do not like bears in the morning on my way to my garage. At the very least, I prefer to know that they are there. These lights are very helpful with that even with the short hours of light upon us for winter already, they are getting plenty of charge to work when I need them. Five stars.

Exceptional choice for anyone looking to enhance their outdoor lighting. With a powerful output of 15,000 lumens and 220 LED lights, these solar flood lights provide bright, reliable illumination for patios, yards, driveways, and garages. The motion sensor feature adds an extra layer of security, activating the lights when movement is detected. Installation is a breeze, as they can be easily mounted or staked into the ground. We mounted ours onto a metal pole using hose clamps and they are very secure. Nice to have them high up so they brighten up more area. With an IP65 waterproof rating, they withstand various weather conditions, ensuring durability and longevity...so far. Overall, these lights combine functionality and efficiency at an impressive value, making them a fantastic addition to any outdoor space. I love them and so do our dogs!! I can see them and they can see me to come back in at night. Good deal for two of them and a good price. NICE!!

The build quality of these lights is probably the worst I have ever seen. Thrown together using the cheapest and thinnest plastic ever. Everything on it twists and bends. The mount arm pole feels as though it can't support what little weight of the light there is, a strong breeze I'm sure would crack the plastic. The light output is horrible, about as much as a cheap keychain flashlight. They were assembled with the plastic protective film over the lights so you'd have to disassemble them to remove the film. Don't waste your money unless you like just tossing it in the trash which is where these ended up.

These are solar-powered lamps with significant light output of 15,000 lumens at 6500 degrees K, which is daylight bright white. The technical details are well-stated on the web page description, so I will not recount them here. Installation is a breeze, all necessary hardware is included, and the instructions are comprehensive.Although made from ABS plastic, it is robust enough that it appears more than adequate to stand up to our harsh winter environment here in the mountains of Central NY State.Because they are solar powered. I installed them on a 10' x 16' firewood & tools shed that has no AC power. One is mounted on the front of the shed at a height of 6-1/2' from the ground. The second one is mounted on one end gable of the shed about 10' off the ground. There is a small parking area on that end of the shed which is not illuminated by the rear lights on the house. This lamp fills that spot in nicely with more than enough light.I am still messing with the mode settings. I started with Mode 1, 30% brightness, then if motion detected goes to 100% and then back to 30% after 25 seconds. I like that setup because it may allow the batteries a longer runtime and they will last longer than leaving it on full brightness. 30% is fine for general nighttime use and if I go out there during the night the 100% light is more than enough. And the remote is a real treat! It allows me to make adjustments on-the-fly from the back deck. My older AC powered lights can be adjusted, but you need to climb up a ladder to change the switches. on the unit itself.
