Works out of the box but for it to control an Avaya phone you need to buy the Jabra adapter for Avaya phones. Once you have that and set the correct remote call control settings it works flawlessly. I thought I had a dead phone because it kept clicking when trying to use the headset to control my phone. Support walked me through the settings and made 1 simple change and works like a charm. For a refurbished product it works great and has even better phone support than almost all companies I have called.

The Jabra Pro 920 is an excellent affordable headset for just about any mono audio application. In our situation, we pair these with our Yealink office phones and generally speaking they are an excellent fit for the price. We don't want to spent $150-200 on headsets for higher end models so we opt for the renewed Pro 920s. it offers great sound quality for our office staff with the simplicity of a few buttons to operate, making for very quick and easy training.The headset itself has a button for answering/hanging up, muting, and volume control buttons. The base has indicators for all functions of the headset (charging, mute, on/off hook). Pairing is done while the headset is docked, so should you have to replace or swap earpieces, they are very easy to make whole again.While Jabra and this model in particular are very good for their intended use, I have found a notably higher failure rate of these units than I'd like to see, most times DOA upon purchase. We haven't purchased brand new units in years as they are quite pricey, so I am led to believe the refurb process may be questionable (many of these come from a company called Renewed Headsets but I cannot speak to whether the issue is them or Jabra's quality control). Typically what happens is the headset will randomly start picking up the phone erradically and hanging up on active calls, or in some cases no audio. It is absolutely irritating and once this happens the unit is in need of repair. I've isolated physical phones, control adapter boxes, and every other variable, each time ruling down to a failed headset base.Do not let this deter you from purchasing this - Amazon's 30-day return window takes care of these issues whenever I have come across them. Just be certain you thoroughly test the headset ASAP before deploying.

Excellent company to deal with. My headset suddenly stopped working and was replaced in one day - no questions asked. Product is great, but sometimes problems arise that are no one's fault. This company fulfilled its warranty better and quicker than I would have ever expected. I would not hesitate to make purchases from this company in the future - and will recommend the company to all my friends and co-workers.

I am forever thankful that I found this headset at a discounted price. It is normally $250 plus luckily Amazon had it much cheaper. Very easy set up very clear instructions. I honestly cannot tell you how long the battery last; because for my lunch and breaks I put it on the charger to give it some time other than that no issues. I’m not too sure about the noise cancellation feature because my background is usually quiet. But if you’re working from home, definitely get this!!

First one received had a problem with headpiece speaker. I called the support number, talked immediately to someone knowledgeable and they sent a replacement, which I received the next day with prepaid shipping to return the defective one. The new one worked perfectly out of the box and has much better sound and loudness range than my old one from Spracht.

I bought this for my office where I switch workstations often while with customers. It's so nice to not have to worry about cords or getting out of range with this headset. Sounds pretty good too! I've had to move the dock away from my phone to reduce static, but other than that I'm happy. You do have to buy a $10 adapter if you only have a 2.5mm jack for it, but it does work with the handset jack too. The shipping was so fast I was happy when I came home and seen the package I hooked it up right away it connected but once I made a call my patients couldn’t hear me . Unfortunately I will be returning this product I was looking forward to a working wireless headset . Better luck next time !
