I don't have a whole lot of need for a tap and die set but when I do, It's so nice to have a set like this in the toolbox. I occasionally come across times where I need to clean up some damaged threads on a bolt or bolt hole and this set comes in clutch for those purposes. I don't think they would stand up to cutting your own threads on fresh rods for a very long time but for the previously mentioned uses....they are great. The carry case is good for keeping the pieces organized but they tend to fall out and rattle around if you move the kit around much. I just keep it laying in a drawer in my toolbox for easy access when needed. The kit has the most commonly encountered sizes of taps and dies for my needs and has already been a great time and frustration saver. For a price range of about $33 you can't really go wrong considering the prices of most other tap and die sets out there.

This product comes in a nice organized case where each piece snaps into place; although some pieces will fall out of place when transported.I have gotten multiple used out of a few of the the pieces and they seem to be holding up well.
