Was wondering if this was a gimmick??? But this little tool really simplifies coring out my jalapeños and peppers. 🌶️ I love it! Buy one - you will love it too.

I core a lot of jalapeños during canning season and this makes the job very easy. It only loses a star because you have to have good size jalapeños to core…it won’t work on smaller ones. Very easy to clean and pretty sturdy.

I've been wanting a jalapeño corer as I use them all the time. Figured I'll try this one as it came with good ratings.So it'll work only on specific-sized peppers. If the pepper is too thin - it won't fit or will pop the pepper. If it's a large jalapeño - the corer gets stuck on the pulp and shreds it instead of coring it out. And, of course, the pepper has to be straight. If it's bent - forget about it.But these are issues with all of this type of knife. This particular one has a much greater problem - it's too soft. Even the soft pulp of a jalapeño is enough to get the shaft twisted and bent. I have to re-bend it into shape every few peppers. It's like this was made as a prop for Uri Geller...I'm a year after purchasing it and I finally ha enough. It's going in the garbage and I'll be replacing it with something of a (hopefully) better quality.

OK, Gang, been wanting one of these for a while, finally got one and anxiously prepared to use. Butchered three peppers right out of gate. As I was throwing a fit and cussing the tool, my Beautiful Wife came over, took the tool from my hand and with a small flourish, promptly proceeded to cleanly and expertly deseeded the peppers as I watched on in disbelief. Was it magic? Had she some hidden ancient talent that had suddenly surfaced? Nope. Not at all. She just read the instructions. Simple as that. Did I mentioned her husband was a man? A idiot man? Yep. That's me! So, let me tell you this awesome little tool makes quick, clean work out of prepping peppers for stuffing. And if your family enjoys stuffed peppers as much as ours, you will surely find this well made, very sharp, easy to use, easy to clean, inexpensive tool a real time saver. Just remember guys, save some time, break tradition and read the instructions.

What a glorious little gadget! I eat jalapeños every day, and this makes preparing them so much easier. I was a little concerned that there were no instructions but it was very easy to figure it out

This is a must for all you Jalapeno Popper eaters! Cleaning and prepping the peppers is what I disliked. In the past, I would scrape them with a knife and then a carrot peeler, This kitchen tool works great! The tool cuts the prepping time and cleaning to minutes from the old process. This tool is built sturdy and hollows and cleans the inside of the pepper in seconds. This is great item for your kitchen at a good price, too!
