Just like the ice shaver I had as a kid in Japan, this product delivers. Soft melt in your mouth shaved ice beats crushed ice all day. Your kids will love it and so will you. Only negative is you'll need more than one ice tray for multiple desserts. I usually freeze one pop it out put it in the freezer and fill it again so I have at least 2 ice blocks for the kids. Other than that this is perrfect.

This comes with a single ice mold, so if you want to make high quality shaved ice for a crowd, you’ll need to do some hunting for additional molds. I bought 16 of these and now pack them in a cooler and bring them to the beach, now I can make piña coladas for everyone! This was very flimsy. It is cheaply made. I had a similar product before when I was in Japan and it was much better quality. This was very disappointed. It is hard to shave ice. Also, it would be good to have one more container to make ice. Overall, I will not recommend to buy this product.

I'm giving a 5 star because the price and overall quality is very good. My negative comment, however, is the cup for freezing the ice is not tapered so it can be a bit of a project to get the ice out of it. I discovered a small margarine container, with tapered sides, works well and the ice will drop right out.

No electricity required, easy to turn handle. For the money and convenience, this was a great purchase. There are many Shaved Ice trailers that are in the area we live in, andthis comes very close to making it just like they do with their big expensive machines. This comes with a container to freeze water in,and you can also use any old plastic round storage container. Ice cubes right out of the freezer will also work.For a different consistency, let ice sit out for a little bit to soften up before grinding. Good quality item, NOT made in China.

子供がどうしてもカキ氷機がほしいとのことなので、アイスロボの購入を考えていましたが、安いこともあり、だめ元でこちらの商品を購入しました。専用の氷を作るカップも購入したのですが、家について早々子供が作りたいとのことだったので、家のブロックアイスで作ってみました。ガリガリのカキ氷が出きるかと思いきや、これがどうしてなかなかおいしく出来ました。さすがに、ブロックアイスなのでお店で食べるほどさらさらではないですが、十分美味しく出来上がりました。子供も満足しています（笑）他の方のレビューにありましたが、軽いため安定感がないですが、上から押さえつけるようにハンドルを回せば特に問題なく作れます。この後、専用カップで氷が出来次第、再度食べると子供が申しております（驚）

真夏の暑い日、かき氷を食べたくても糖尿病で食事制限されている小生にとってコンビニ等で購入する冷菓は糖分が多く食べるこてが出来ないので、自宅で自分に合った甘味料や、グリーティを入れた氷を作り、この機械でかき氷を作っています。 毎年夏場に血糖値が上がるのですが、今年は大丈夫でした。 又、色々入れる物や、蜜を工夫し楽しんでいます。糖尿病患者に是非勧めたい商品。

I bought this one because it's made of Japan with high quality. It has staindless steel blade held by strong plastic instead of screws that will rust. It shaves smoothly. I wish it comes with 2 ice dishes instead of one because using ice cubes is not as easy to shave. Over all, this shaver works and looks much better than the less expensive one we had before. Somehow this color is actually $5 less than the pink one, don't know why.

自宅用にお手頃なものをと購入しました。まず家にある氷で作ると、回すのに力がいるのと、他の方が書いているように氷がちょっとがりがりかな〜。その後、付属の製氷器で作った氷で作ると！氷がさらさら！そしてジョリジョリ削れていくのが気持ちいい！！笑機械自体が軽いので、回す際にしっかり押さえなければなりませんが、まぁかき氷器ってこんなもんでしょ〜って感じです。小さいお子さんだと大変かな…ちなみに付属の製氷皿で一人分くらいなので、別売りの２個セットも買いました。うちの冷蔵庫だと、固まるのに１日かかります…

今回、この商品を購入したわけは、自然体験教室でのおやつにとおもい買いました。ブロック氷でもできるのでとても気軽。子ども達だけでも、簡単にできます。かき氷のできは、ちょっと荒かき氷ですが、この、猛暑なか最高のおやつです。ただし、子どもだと一人が足を押さえる必要があります。でも、値段からも満足です。電動ではなく、自分の力で上手くやることは、こども、発達に良いです。便利さに、溺れてますます、能力が退化します。なんせ、エコ！チリも積もればでーーす。

・ふわふわな氷が堪能できます。・脚部がプラスチックのため、製氷中は多少グラグラします。・掃除も簡単です。・安価ですし、氷の出来も申し分ないのでお勧めです。
