I love sitting on the floor and thought the Hagihara Japanese Tatami mat squares would be nice padding. They are high quality, lightweight, and look good. However, I was thinking they would be more comfortable. I like that there are 4 separate pieces and easy to clean, but I don't see how you can fold the squares without ruining them.

These are beautifully made tatami mats. The woven surface is nice, with subtle color variations, a smooth texture, and a very durable finish. These are quite firm, but do have a little give to provide some support. They appear very well made and should last a good long time.

I know these Tatami mats are traditionally used for beds but these are perfect tumble mats for my toddler. I set these up at the bottom of a pickler and when the kids fell off they got right back up. After they are done they are easily stacked and stored. I also use them for bedtime. I place these on the floor next to the bed and used them. Perfect multipurpose mats

Well made. Easy to lay out. Lightweight and stackable. Lovely woven design that gives off a subtle colour change depending on the lighting. Non-slip. I have them laid out in my bedroom. They invite me to workout when I wake up. Even my cats like it... and that's saying alot. Overall, these Japanese tatami mats are functional, and deserves a 5.

Wow! Now this is highly impressive. Here we have a Japanese Tatami Mat. I have owned a couple before, but it's been a while- I decided that we as a family needed something like this for our new additions in our family. This is a large mat that can be used for a plethora of different uses. You can use this to put under play equipment and toys, yoga, sleep- non slip mat. The material is of premium grade, feels durable and should have good longevity. In total you will receive (4) pieces. Below, I will outline some of the other features that appealed to me that ultimately led me to choose this one over other similar ones.*Design: (4) piece Japanese Tatami Mat- 64 x 64 - Non slip-Waterproof - Foldable*Function: simple to set up- works as it should. I use these on our hard wood floors in the living room and they're really comfortable. Whether you want to use them for yoga, stretching, or just laying about they provide substantial cushion. Easy to store and clean.

These are beautiful tatami mats and really come in handy if I need to get on the floor for anything. They're thick and comfortable, so much better than just the rug on hardwood. They're super easy to clean and to store since they're flat. The "black" is definitely more of a blackish brown, but it's still lovely.
