I know it's odd -- you'd think any rubbery material or even rubber gloves would be the same level of effectiveness when it comes to opening tight bottles and jar caps. Not necessarily -- I've tried many! This little green Grip is the best I've ever used. It's a winner.

Finally! Grips of rubber (not slippery vinyl) that actually grip a jar top! I've tried several other versions of these, and they all turned out to be slick vinyl that simply slides around on a jar lid, no matter how tightly you squeeze. These rubber grips work!

They start "shedding" after 4-5 uses. Green specks everywhere.
