I bought an umbrella off of TikTok shop and it would not stand up on its own. I was frustrated and contacted the company with no help from them. Got on Amazon and bought these. They work perfectly! So easy to just add water screw the thing back on and done! It’s not too heavy where I can’t pick it up and move it if I want but heavy enough to hold the umbrella in place!

**Design Flaws and Leakage Issues**This product suffers from significant design flaws. Assembling it is unusually difficult, which can be frustrating. Moreover, the cap leaks, meaning it's not suitable for storing water under direct sunlight as it may degrade over time. Pay more and buy something more reliable.

Tiny, pin-sized holes started popping up and water began to sprout out. This was not a 'one-off' but rather random and has affected all four pads. Now, it's not usable.

I got this umbrella off Amazon and the brand has had the base be out of stock for at least a year now. Measured what we needed and gave this a try. Works perfect. Filled the base with water.

Works well once filled with sand. Most stores that sell sand store it outside so it is damp. I used a wheelbarrow and dumped all of the sand to be used into the wheelbarrow, and left it in the sun to dry. I found this was going to take too long, so took the pieces 2 at a time, and planted them back to back with the corner opposite the filler into the sand. The sand held them up pretty well. I tried a funnel and it would clog with the wet sand. I then tried using both hands to cup the sand and let it sift through my hands into the base plates. The sand would mostly go in. This worked pretty well, and in about a half an hour I was done.The metal ties barely work. The surface the plates sits on needs to be pretty flat or they won't go in. I contacted Jearey and the just referred me to the instruction video. I will probably make my own and have the part that goes into the plastic about 3/8" longer.Pretty expensive for 4 plastic jugs basically, but pretty much in line with what the competitors charge.

We filled it with water and are using it with a 13 ft cantilever umbrella. No leaks. Much easier to fill with water. It is subjected to coastal winds and weather. We plan on emptying the water and bringing it in during the winter months so as to prevent freezing and expansion and then possible damage. So far it meets our expectations as far as durability and stability. Of course when you fill it, it is weighted so it is not easy to move the base around assembled in 4s. We have the Jearey brand umbrella, so we decided to go with the more expensive Jearey base compared to other brands out there to ensure proper fit.
