The US Weight 80 Pound Free Standing Umbrella Base is crafted with a high-density polyethylene shell with UV protection that will not rust, dent, or fade, and can withstand the elements in any weather climate. This heavy and stable base was prefilled with 80 pound of high-strength concrete. Easily transport and setup the base with the removable wheel on bottom and hand grips for easier mobility. The 20.5" diameter base features a 14" high stem that accommodates poles from 1 ½" through 2" thick. Inside the stem is a plastic post protector for the umbrella to rest on instead of a screw leaving the pole undamaged. The stem features two knobs made of polypropylene that tighten the umbrella securely in place for added stability and support. All of the steel components are made of grade 304 stainless steel. Grade 304 stainless steel is also used in aerospace engineering and surgical instruments and will not rust. The umbrella bases come in four colors – black, bronze, grey and white – and prefilled or empty options.

Heavy duty umbrella anchor, holder. This one has a nice look. It’s got some size given it’s 80lb of stabilization, but it is designed well and fits in with our patio furniture.

I cant say enough great things about this umbrella stand. Its really great quality! It's heavy (which i need for my windy area). Its chamber is made from stainless steel and I can tell its made well and strong. It was an easy assemble. Looks great! Would give it ten stars if I could. I definitely would recommend.

Very disappointed with this umbrella base. Needed a new white base and bought based on the great reviewsUpon first opening the box, i thought the base looked sturdy, it was VERY heavy. After a second look, it looks cheap and plastic. But OK, at least it wont rust. No big deal.After I put it together I noticed alot of play where the umbrella holder fits into the base. Once the umbrella was installed, that pay was amplified. The result was a lopsided and very unstable umbrella.I pulled out the stand and wrapped electrical tape around the bottom to create a shim. Then I pounded the stand back into the base with a rubber mallet. This fixed the play in the mounting hardware but exposed how uneven the base is.You can easily rock the umbrella back and forth with minimal effort, to the point it seems like it could tip. This is with the 80lb concrete fill. VERY unstable and terrible craftsmanship.Next time I will just buy a $30 base at HomeDepot. Doubt this will last one summer anyway.

This umbrella base looked good but the price was significantly high...after some debate, we went ahead and bought it. This is an outstanding base, of extremely high quality, and intelligent design. The stainless-steel design will not rust. We can roll it without scarring our decking, the 2" post is held tightly in place, and seats firmly at the bottom of the post-holder. It looks great and the 80 lbs of weight has kept it from toppling. Of greatest importance, when the umbrella is tilted at the top, the firm grip at the base prevents it from turning and being blown over. They did a great job on this, very happy to have purchased it.

This umbrella base is fantastic! I ordered mine already filled and boy was it heavy! This thing is not going anywhere unless I roll it there, for sure. The rollers work great and it holds the umbrella firmly. It is a nice color that blends well with my deck, and my brown wicker outdoor furniture. The only thing that was a little bit of a problem is that installation (attaching the small plate to the underside) required a giant allen key, which I didn't have (and I do have many, many of them). One was not included in the package either. However, the allen key slot was so huge, I was able to use a flat head screwdriver to accomplish installing the plate.

Purchased this umbrella stand for its heavy weight and built. Upon opening, I noticed there were some minor scratches in the coat of the stand and a small ding on the stainless steel rod that happened during shipping. I contacted US Weight customer service saying that I would save the hassle of sending it back and keep the item since the damage didn’t affect the functionality of the stand. US weight was willing to work with me since I liked the stand and didn’t want to deal with return. Thank you for a quick turnaround to resolve the situation… GREAT CUSTOMER CARE!Onto the stand, assembly was a breeze, the stand is heavy duty, the stainless steel rod sits in the stand very snuggles and is able to hold my huge 9x15 umbrella, and the wheels on the stand make it easy to move around. All around great product and even better company!I would recommend to anybody looking for USA made umbrella stand.

My stand came in on time but without the stem. I called US Weight from the number on the card that came in the box. They immediately sent the stem assembly and it came in a couple of days later. Everything appears to be high quality. I got the prefilled base which is a very plain plastic with a cleverly simple wheel design (a wide plastic roller with a stainless shaft) for moving the umbrella around. The stem and all other components are stainless steel including the set screws that hold the umbrella in place. It has adapter rings for 2", 1 7/8" or 1 1/2" poles and a cone shape at the base of the stem to center and secure the umbrella. I think this base will hold up well in our coastal conditions where salt destroys regular or galvanized steel in quick order. I think it was worth the fairly high cost.Update: Over 4 years later and it’s still in excellent condition.Update: August 2023 and still in excellent condition!
