Still no instructions but intuitive. I like the final product and works with my voswitch switch panel. No rattling.

It took a bit to install, but nothing that was unexpected. DO make sure that you have a proper rivet tool to install this, I happened to already have a pneumatic one on hand.The fit requires cutting one of the trim covering pegs/fasteners out of the factory interior trim, this could have been avoided had the designers planned just a touch better.If it were not for the required trim modifications and lack of an instruction sheet, I would have gone with 5 stars instead of 4.

Great fit without any modifications! Well packaged with included hardware…. Would be nice if installations directions were included but videos are plenty available to see how…. Very happy with this product to a much needed space overhead use on my JK 2 doors.

Three separate places in the product description it clearly states this product is made of Aluminum material. It is NOT. It is made from cold rolled steel.The MOLLE platform cut-outs are not the correct dimensions in either direction (see photos). You may be able to attach a pouch etc. with two three molle ladders (rows) but certainly not more.It has a slight bow to it long ways (see photo). The rolled edges lengthwise on this were most likely produced by a low budget roll forming machine which would induce stress to the material causing the bow. The good news is that, if it fits correctly on your JK, the crown is up so as you add weight it would get better not worse ;?It does seem to be sufficiently sturdy. The finish appears to be quite good for the money. However, I will be returning it and will not be purchasing from this company in the future.

My overhead molle rack arrived with the left front tab slightly bent. It was easy to fix using a pair of pliers, but I shouldn't have had to.It included 2 screws for the rear of the rack, and two pop rivets for the front. If you don't already own a pop rivet gun, you'll have to buy one if you want to install the rack using this hardware.Since I wanted to be able to remove the rack some day, I used "nutserts" which are threaded inserts. I marked and center punched the windshield frame under the trim panel and drilled and installed the nutserts. Then I had to drill the holes in the bracket a little bigger to fit the 6mm threaded screws I used.This made a nice, solid, professional installation that can easily be removed in case I decide to sell the vehicle. But I feel like the design should have been made to use the bolts from the footman loop so there wouldn't be any drilling needed.Also, there were no installation instructions included.To get 5 starts, this should have arrived without the left front mounting tab bent, and it should have had a decal drilling guide you could stick on to the windshield frame that showed the correct position to drill for the holes, and an installation instruction manual to show you how to remove the center trim panel, etc. I also felt the price was a little high for a single piece of painted soft steel. This feels like it should be a $65 product.Overall once it is installed it's been great. I use it to mount a 2 way radio and will probably find some other molle pouches to stick up there as well.

If you know how your Jeep interior comes apart, the install is easy. My critique would be that the supplied mounting accessories are not very optimal. You’d have to drill precise holes to use the supplied screws and buy a brad tool if you don’t have one.What I did was use 5 self-tapping screws and was done with the project in 15 mins.

great product! i installed it in my wrangler and mounted my cb radio to it. very sturdy and easy install. if you have a switch pod make sure to install it’s bracket over the hard top latch that’s screwed into the windshield frame. mine was installed under and needed to be re installed properly to fit. all in all great product!
