I used this pillow after a fall & tailbone injury. It was much better than sitting on a flat chair.

I use my cushion every day for my office chair at work. I had surgery so I needed to relieve pressure on my bottom. This cushion helps but it is very firm, so it puts a little too much pressure around the sides. I have a wide heavy bottom and it doesn't squish too much. Everyone's body is a different shape and size so it will sit different for everyone. It is a well-made cushion with removeable cover.

This is the best donut pillow I have found. Beige is nice and firm, I can sit on it for hours in comfort!

This is the hardest thing I have ever sat on. It was not even the one I ordered but too much trouble to send back.

This pillow makes sitting much more comfortable if you have any problem such as hemroids or any other discomfort. Why didn’t get one sooner. I love it.

I have pudendal neuralgia. It was caused by a surgeon and two years later the promised nerve growth/healing has not happened and as with all nerve pain, there is no magic (or devastatingly addictive) pill. All I can do is try to reduce the time I spend sitting or standing still. I've worked in the same type of work my entire adult life, maintained professional licenses and designations that I am not willing to abandon because the nature of my work has me sitting most of the time. I tried standing but found that the hormones I take cause water retention when I stand for long periods of time so I am stuck between painful kankles or pelvic pain. Pain or pain with fat ankles. In researching how others with this condition have coped I found many links to pillows/medical cushions of this fashion and thought, why not? Well this is why- it's only effective if it's firm enough to keep your entire upper body suspended a few inches off the chair with absolutely no contact with the inner thigh or pelvic area. This thing was a smash patty in seconds, and not due to me being abnormally large - I'm 5'9" and 160lbs. The shape is right though, perhaps a little wider, more of an oval shape with a tall u shaped cut out of the middle. I can visualize this apparatus and so I made an executive decision to return this disc sponge, source some firm upholstery foam (or the like) and create my own pudendal nerve compression release cushion. Wish me luck. Also don't buy this, it's junk.
