I like this capo, works well and particularly like the low profile that does not get in the way of my hand. Add to that low price and compactness and it appears to be a winner. Long term life of the plastic bits of the toggle that engage the hooks on the body of the capo remains to be seen, but at the price I will buy another for a spare and be happy.

中学生だった45年前から使用してきたカポ。色々試したが、ベストな一台だと思う。軽くコンパクトで演奏の邪魔にならない。確実に弦を押さえてくれる。長い年月、世界中で何人の人が使っているんだろう。

This is a simple capo. I have been using Dunlop for forty years,,,tried all the others but keep returning to dunlop..curved for my steel strings and flat for my classical

The only other capo I've tried is the adjustable planet Waves NS reflex. I like this one way better for my jazzmaster. It's super super low profile so you can play around it easily. The only con I can think of is that it is not as easy and quick to remove as a trigger action capo, but for me the low profile and tight fit is more important.

I still like these they work fine and are not bulky. They don't or get in the way of playing and they don't mark the guitar neck or cause any damage problems. The adjustable ones are better because you can adjust the tension easily to suit the guitar (or position on the neck). I usually hang it over the neck then bring the clip up to suit the tension on the ratchet and only adjust the buckle if necessary. They easily fold up small to fit in your pocket and are are relatively cheap. My old one has out lived many more expensive items but on the other hand I don't tend to use a capo much these days, so losing them seems to be a bigger problem.

Works as advertised. I bought a spring-loaded capo that was supposed to work on all acoustic guitars, but didn't work on mine. This one does. So far, so good!

I'm glad someone still makes this old-school capo. It's cheaper, smaller and easier to throw in a gig bag pocket -- or your pants pocket -- than the new spring-loaded ones. But it sure isn't as easy to put on or take off or reposition. I had to adjust the strap length a few times to make it so it goes on fairly easily but still does its job. I'm able to use it for the two guitars I tried it on, but if I try to put it on a guitar with a fatter or skinnier neck, I'll probably have to adjust the strap again, which is kind of a pain to do every time you switch instruments. There's no elasticity to it.Jim

i bought this capo and i was like "oh man, this is not what i expected." because i expected it to be different. but it wasn't, it was a very forein design to me, but nontheless, it worked perfectedly. i would recomend to a friend. 10/10 would buy again but probably not because it is very sturby and will not break even if you try to make it break.

I purchased this as an inexpensive second Capo to have as a backup when I recently misplaced a Planet Waves Capo. I picked up the Shubb Capo at the same time. The Shub works great, and you can put it on using one hand. The Dunlop is a pain to attach to the neck, and is made cheaply. I would save your money and pop for the Shubb, or the Planet Waves dual action Capo, another one hand on and off design. A few more bucks will make life much easier. If I were to choose one, I would probably go for the Palanet Waves, as it is a great design, and solidly made.
