This hood fit the lens like a factory option and feels like a quality plastic that will last. I saw a few reviews complaining about the size of the branding text on the hood and frankly, it's not that noticeable and I for one don't mind showing the brand for a product I like to use. I'd absolutely buy another hood from them if/when I have the need.

I needed a replacement hood for my 50mm f/1.8 OSS and this works great. It also works on the kit lens and it’s a a better price than the OEM lens hood so that’s also nice.

Parts of the interior of the hood stick out past the filter threads making it impossible to use an ND or CPL.

Fit's sony 35MM F1.8 APC lens and have not had any problems . Not sure what else to say but it does it's gob

I'm just happy this exists because replacing the original sony lens hood was going to cost something insane like $50. The plastic feels similar but the writing on the side is pretty obnoxious. I sharpie'd it to some success. Finally, the fit just isn't quite as smooth. The "click" from engagement/disengagement has a bit more friction than I would like. Either way though, it does exactly what I need it to!
