Good replacement that fits well and is made of a soft pliable material. Works great for when you don't want to have to take your sunglasses on and off repeatedly. JJC accessories have always been a winner for me especially with Canon stuff and this is no exception.

My R5 is too new right now to need a replacement eyecup but these Canon cameras are notorious for losing their eyecups too easily. I've lost them getting in and out of camera bags, I've lost them on shoots, I've lost them on jobsites. So,it is always good to have an extra around in the bag just in case. This one is remarkably similar to the Canon eyecup and while I thought the material might be harder, it is just as soft as the OEM eyecup. I liked that this comes with replacement screws and screwdriver (thank you!) instead of making us reuse the orginal screws. This will mean a much more secure purchase when the new eyecup is installed. Alstly, the fit looks good as well, close tolerances and the quality that JJC is known for. For small replacement pieces or accesories, you can't go wrong with JJC.
