Great jacket,but it is a snug fit in the waist,stomach area. Wind breaker, water resistant, and much warmer than you'd expect.

Don’t use the size chart. Order what you normally get for as a T-shirt size in men’s.My 18 yr old son wears a men’s medium T-shirt and 30 inch waistline. The extra small coat was skin tight at chest. I should have just assumed that Joe’s was normal American sizing.I really liked the tiny fiber lining and I liked that the outer soft shell jacket felt like soft cloth threads (not hard & not plastic) and yet still waterproof. The outer shell felt like a high-thread-count bedsheet. It’s a beautiful jacket and I think it’s super cool and a great price. Two huge inner deep pockets for i-pad and iPhone on each hip.

I stand 6'5" tall and a biscuit under 300 pounds. I normally wear a 2XLT, and a 3XLT if I require extra room or if the item runs small. I ordered a 4XLT to give me room to wear my Lama vest under this jacket for skiing. I am please with going up two sizes to achieve my desired results.This jacket served me well skiing Arizona Snowbowl and two days later hiking in Chiricahua National Monument. Protection from the wind was perfect hiking on a really windy and cool day. Light rain is not going to be much of an issue for this jacket. I think it looks good too. See attached photo. For a none expensive jacket you can't go wrong with this one. I think this is a great value purchase for me.

I love the jacket, it looks very nicely made and is almost exactly what I was expecting. I say almost because of 2 things, it definitely fits at least a size small and the jacket is lighter weight than I was expecting. I normally fit into 2XL tee shirts and sweat shirts although I normally get 3XL as I like a larger/baggier fit. I ordered a 4XL jacket and I'm glad I did. The 4XL fits snug but not too tight. Had I ordered a 3XL I probably wouldn't be able to breathe with it zipped up. As for the jackets thickness, it is pretty light weight but does feel warm. I'm sure I won't be braving any snow storms in this jacket but for everything else it seems fine.
