This is a great fitting jacket and the hood is roomy. While it might not be ideal for harsh, northern winters, I think it is perfect milder winters in the Deep South. Of course I cannot say for sure as it is still much to hot to wear it here, but I tried it on and it a great fit that seems to be true to size. It seems to be fairly well constructed but does have a few minor flaws. There are a few loose threads and a couple of dropped stitches but that could just be the one I received and not the general rule. Overall, I like the look and fit and can’t wait to wear it, should we accidentally have a winter this year. Great jacket, just needs closer attention to quality control standards.

This is a nice jacket for cool weather. It's not quite warm enough for midwest winters, but it does a good job as a windbreaker with a little extra. It's kind of thick material, but not puffy. Easy to wear a hoodie or sweatshirt under it. Zippers are good and it's very comfortable. Fits well.

The softshell material is quite comfortable with the fleece lining inside that makes it breathable and waterproof at the same time. I chose this one mainly for the removable hood. There are three exterior pockets (one Napoleon style) with zippers that feel like good quality. The interior zippered pocket was a nice bonus. There are also two deep interior pockets for gloves. Measurements are true to the description and I like that there is a little room for movement built-in. I hope you found this helpful!

This warm jacket looks and feels like it could stand up to anything. The outer shell is heavy and gives me the confidence that it can face every activity without letting me down. Rocks, branches or contact with anything else shouldn't faze this fabric. The lining is fleece, lightweight but warm and the fit allows enough room for a second layer if needed for cooler weather activities. Needless to say this same combination of a tough shell and warm interior keeps the rain and snow off as you expect.One of my favorite features is that the hood zips off when not needed. I like having it on for wet or windy weather but don't like it hanging down under fairer skies. The easy on zipper on the collar make it easy to add back when needed. Rounding out the features are the extra pockets on the sleeve and inside the jacket so things can be squirrelled away from where you want to plunge your hands when out in the cold. All in all, a great jacket when you don't want to be sporting someone's logo.
