Flimsy not sturdy enough to hold your foot straight.

Doesn't contour to your ankle enough to be comfortable and the inflatable padding does not stay in place and the velcro tabs for the bottom foot piece the carpet when walking indoors. No possibility of wearing any shoes with this contraption, even Crocs. Overall, it can only be used indoors for short periods.

Honestly it helped with the shoes I was wearing, the only negative side is the bulk size of it

This doesn’t help with drop foot at all. It’s a waste

I have to be real—I never actually ended up using this brace. After my surgery, I was on so much medication that figuring out how to assemble it felt overwhelming, so it’s still sitting unused on my dresser. The instructions seemed a bit complicated, and I just didn’t have the mental energy to tackle it. The brace looks solid and lightweight, and I could see how it might be helpful for someone with foot drop or plantar fasciitis, but just a heads up that it might require a little patience to set up, especially if you’re in recovery mode like I was. It’s probably best for someone who has a bit more clarity or support to help put it together.

Once set, this is the best feeling brace I've tried recently. I feel like it has same the stability as a boot while having the light profile and walkability of a splint or those wrap around straps, and I haven't felt any pain during those first steps after getting up.The air bladders make it very snug, but I do not feel and painful pressure points and haven't woken up in the middle of the night with my toes crying out from being strangled like with normal braces.I wish the calf "strap" was something better than a flimsy piece of foam. I appreciate the wire and quick buckle system but a little more padding would've been nice. In addition, the bottom support seems reversed since the foot sits directly on the hard plate while the padding is on the opposite side to the floor. It's not actually uncomfortable, but really makes no sense to me if that's not a production error.Hades forbid if you lose the inflator bulb, too. I have forgotten it once for a sleepover and I vowed never again.

I recently purchased the Jointown foot brace for my son, and while it has some great features, it does have its limitations. The bionic plantar support is well-designed, offering strong support and stability, especially for conditions like foot drop and plantar fasciitis. The ergonomic structure effectively supports both the inner and outer arches, which we appreciated. However, one of the significant drawbacks is that it doesn't work with all types of shoes. My son needs to wear work boots, and unfortunately, the brace doesn’t fit well inside them. This has made it challenging for him to use the brace during his shifts, which is disappointing since he really needed that extra support. On the plus side, the adjustable design is a nice feature, and it fits comfortably with sneakers or other looser footwear. The lightweight material makes it easy to wear throughout the day, and the washable components are a great addition for hygiene.Overall, I’d give this foot brace four stars. It offers excellent support and comfort, but the inability to fit in certain shoes limits its usability, especially for those who need to wear specific types of footwear for work. If you plan to wear it with casual shoes, it’s a solid choice!

I ordered this Lightweight Foot Brace Stabilizer by Jointown to stabilize my foot and hopefully relieve my foot pain. I was recently diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis and the foot pain can be excruciating. I’ve tried this foot brace out for 2 weeks and I have not experienced relief from my foot pain. The brace has a flat foot pad along the sole, I need arch support so I added an arch pad. The addition of the arch pad helped a bit but it just wasn’t enough support and relief from my Plantar Fasciitis. I cannot wear this brace with shoes, it is too wide to fit in any of my shoes. However, I can wear it with flip-flops. I ordered the left and right braces – the only difference is the placement of the knob adjuster, otherwise they are exactly the same. The splint itself is very good quality and well-constructed. The splint fits well and the materials are good quality. This splint may relieve Plantar Fasciitis pain for others but it just isn’t the right product for me.
