Very hit or miss. My labels were blurry and it was difficult changing label sizes.

I am reviewing the "Joysea Bluetooth Shipping Label Printer, 4x6 Wireless Thermal Printer for Small Business, Compatible with Android, iOS, Windows, Mac,Widely Used for Amazon, FedEx, USPS"I ordered this because I am sometimes shopping pkgs out but this also creates other types of labels and stickers! It was an easy setup. I went with the Bluetooth option, but there is also a USB option, and once I got connected- everything else was a breeze! It comes with a good stack of shipping labels (I'm not sure how many, just a little stack of them) and I was able to correctly print my first label on it today!Something I noticed, and idk how much it matters or not, but in the AD it says this prints very fast (and it does) but the ad says it prints at 150 mm/s speed and in the manual under all of the specs info, there was the spot that said the speed and there is a very white sticker over what it said and the sticker says "100 mm/s" for the speed. I peeled the sticker back and the original print did say 150, so idk if there was an error they were trying to cover up or what? But just keep that in mind if that is a deal breaker for you! All of that said tho, it does print pretty darn quick and clear! All in all, I like this thermal printer! It doesn't print in color unless you get some kind of color label paper, but it's pretty nifty! I would repurchase this as well as recommend it to others!

Bought it and it doesn’t recognize the paper. I loaded the paper following the video on YouTube and still get the reddish light indicator. My PC doesn’t see the thermal printer, tried a different and know good USB B to A cable but still nothing and used the “latest drivers” from the site.-/- Emailed support and got no response. Don’t buy!!!!!

I have a perfectly good laser printer that prints perfectly on label paper, so I really didn't need this little printer...HOWEVER, it seems I'm always printing a letter on label stock, or a label on bond stock. It never fails! Whatever I was last printing on is NOT what I now need in the printer! So I got this little printer so I could dedicate label stock to this printer and bond paper to my laser printer. I'm so glad I did! This prints on thermal label stock, so you don't need to worry about replacing toner or ink cartridges; basically the "ink" is "built-in" to the paper. I was afraid this would make the label blanks that much more expensive, but I've found plenty of thermal label stock for sale on Amazon at low prices. And this printer is TINY, so it doesn't take up much room... I've installed it on my wife's computer, since she often hits me up to print a label for an eBay item. Now she can print her own labels and it's hardly noticeable on her desk! The print quality is very good and depending on your settings, it can be very dark (see the Windows Test Page in the photo). It came with a few labels and I've got an order in with Amazon for a pack of 500 for I assumed it was just a wired printer, but it actually supports Bluetooth printing from a computer or a phone/tablet (with a free downloadable app for iOS and Android). Initially, I tried to use Bluetooth from my computer to do the setup, but I couldn't get it paired so I switched to USB, and that went flawlessly. I DO see the unit on Bluetooth from my computer, so I will leave it attached via USB on my wife's computer and print to it via Bluetooth from mine. It CAN be a shared printer, but we really don't need that.I really am happy with this little printer. Definitely recommend!

Nice Printer, convienent to have around. Extremely portable. It can work with one cable (USB-C) or it's own power supply (for Bluetooth - but only on PC's / phones).Printing is extremely quick (think an entire 4" x 6" label in 1 second) and quiet.Connectivity is either bluetooth (except Macs - more on this in a sec) or USB-C.It (nicely) includes a small 512mb (!) USB key with included drivers. It (also, very nicely!) includes a starter supply of 4" x 6" thermal labels. This is great! The Joysea user manual, although a bit of chinese-english; it clear and well instruted with helpful hints throughout. Good job Joysea. All was not entirely easy, at least for me connecting this to a Mac Mini M1.1. The vendor discloses the incomatibility with Mac's and Bluetooth so.. I wont hold them accountable for that (but really: This is horrible in 2025.. how can you not be compatible with bluetooth MAC but be "OK" with an iphone?).2. The USB-C connection port is 'difficult' to make a proper connection with the included cable. It's like the case's plastic is too thick for the underlying connector on the PCB. With some jiggling and solid pushing, I was able to make it work.3. This printer is really from someone called, "Aiyin"; and you can d/l later drivers there (That worked for me).4. The (suggested) label software, "Label Expert" attempts you to create accounts (with the chinese developer) and other uncomfortable things , but all of this is bypassable - an extra step. Software works and has lots of good templates.5. This printer is not 'plug and play'. It is not unrecognized, the user will have to install (or fight through) the driver installation.I connected with USB-C.For use within the household, it is great. Not sure it is heavy duty enough for hard core shippers / warehouse work.
