I ordered #2 95Lb 1.9mm sleeve swivels For my 1.9 mm thick deep drop Leader mainline And usually run 60 to 100 pound test Feeders off of The swivels. At 1.9mm the swivels should have been 100 pounds or better But 1.9 mm Is is the correct sleeve size I Needed so thought I would try these. But the Sleeve size on these are only 1.7 mm not 1.9 as illustrated In their advertisements. Yes I measured precisely As I have the proper tools to do so. Even the package I received states 1.9 mm. They are too tight and have to be forced over the main line And will make for an improper cramp. The 1.0 to 2.0 mm cramping tool will not even cramped down on the sleeves. Fully closed the sleeves fall right out of the crimper. Have to use the 0.5-1.0 and be careful Not to crimp too much or it cuts the leader. So if you order go a size larger. I might add that they are very thin Walled.

Just like all of the Chinese made Sleeve Swivels that I have tried, they fall apart. Swivel portion slides off sleeve portion when fighting even small fish.

I’ve been on the hunt for affordable swivel sleeves that can do the job for deep drop fishing. Just got these 3/0 JSHANMEI 180 pound rated sleeves and tried a stress test with 200 pound mono line. In above photo you can see boat winch hooked up to swivel with a nail running through it and wedged against a hole in the trailer. On the first pull the line broke at the crimp , as can be seen in other photo. Then I tied a triple overhand knot and secured the loop to the winch. This time the line broke at the swivel and pulled the swivel loop out of round as u can see, but the swivel did hold. So, I think the swivel deserves a good rating based on this example of heavier line breaking before the swivel. However, I am not commenting on the cost as there are other options that may perform well at a competitive cost. I’m fairly confident, without real world experience, that rigs made with these JSHANMEIs will land big grouper etc.

Worked well Until the swivels would slide of the crimp messing up the whole rig.
