Ordered this SLGAHGS Jumper Cable Clamps with Alligator Clips for Milwaukee M18 Batteries as a backup for other jumper sets. Work well for not only jumping vehicles and atv's but also for testing all sorts of DC devices. Great way to tap the power of your Milwaukee M18 tool batteries.Battery mount is solid and well molded. True 8 AWG wiring and clips are sturdy and well tensioned. Only one jaw side is powered as there is no jumper between jaw pads. Jaw pad teeth interlock well so I don't see this as a major issue.Care must be taken when hooked to a battery as there is no circuit protection if powered jaws would come in contact with each other. Would cause a short and not be good for your expensive battery. Battery BMS should kick in protecting battery in event of short but I have not tested due to cost of battery. Short would require user error as the clips are protected enough to prevent contact under normal use.Good value for less than 20.00 at time of order. Keeper!

I own mostly Milwaukee tools so I have a significant number of 18-volt Milwaukee batteries so for me this was a no-brainer. Anyone purchasing this does need to keep in mind that this is not a replacement for a battery charger or a jump box. You could easily damage your car battery or Milwaukee battery if you don't know what you're doing. For me this is perfect if I am in a pinch.What I like most about this is it Will help me repair Milwaukee batteries that are not charging rather than going wire to wire in the battery slots. I can put the good battery in this and then just have wires coming out of the bad battery. Highly functional purchase.I was also surprised at how durable this thing is built. The wires are of sufficient size and either 8 and 10 gauge.

This jumper cable setup for Milwaukee M18 batteries is impressively built. The connector feels solid and even includes mounting screw holes if you want to attach it to a tool board or box. The 8AWG wires are well insulated with dual-layer heat shrink, and the alligator clamps have strong spring tension and clean, professional crimps. I bought this specifically for junkyard use, where all the vehicle batteries are usually gone. Last time I couldn’t get a rear door open due to it being locked, even with the panel off. If that vehicle's still there, I’m planning to hook this up to the door lock wiring and power it with an M18 battery—hopefully without frying anything. Great for creative problem-solving and off-grid 12V access.

PROS: Ingenious method to tap into your M18 battery for DC voltage and current, robust battery clamps, battery attachment looks professional enough to have come from Milwaukee.CONS: No protection against shortages should the battery clamps copper teeth come into contact with one another.This item is a brilliant idea brought to life. Unlike many battery clamps on the consumer market, these clamps are strong, straight, and have good covers. The wire gauge is appropriate for the task. The M18 attachment has no rough edges or non-uniformities and slides perfectly onto the M18 battery. When paired with the Forge M18, this is a powerhouse of a jump start device.
