Pretty slick little jump starter with a few, pretty big, flaws. First of all, I was able to use this to jump a dead battery in my 4Runner with no problems. For what it is it works well, and I think the price is pretty good. That said, there are a few safety things with this that I think need to be improved upon. First there is not on off switch, so as soon as you hook up the batter its live. As long as you are careful its fine, but something to keep in mind. Second, and I think more importantly, looks like the cords are about a 12 gauge. After jumping the battery, the cord was really hot. I think this needed to be a smaller gauge for longevity and safety, remember, no on/off switch in case of an issue. I would gladly pay more for this if it had these two, pretty easy, upgraded features.

It works. Jump starter a 5.7 with a V8 5.7. Attached 18v 9ah battery. Had to allow it to sit for a moment. Then it turned over. I took off 1 star because for the price it should include an inline fuse and maybe also an on/off switch? But mainly for the gauge wire, only 12. I feel it should be at least 10 gauge. I am going to add the fuse and on off, for convenience and safety precautions. Otherwise it's a cool product to carry around with you.

I picked up these jumper cables with alligator clips for my Milwaukee M18 18V batteries, they’ve been super handy to have around.
