There's a coating over this that makes me think it's not cast iron. There's pieces chipped off that I circled in the second image and if I wipe my hand over the bottom I get black specks off it. The cover sometimes magnetizes when I place it on top too. We'll see how it does when I burn an incense disk in it.

This is a very unique looking burner that I use for both incense and occasionally as a burner for a little alcohol fueled fire, with the addition of a fiberglass wick. Very functional for both. The size is just right.I really like the design and it's well made.

I’m happy with it. Wish the legs were a bit shorter and/or wider, but that’s just me. I just put a clay pot shard in the bottom and burn on that instead of the heat proof cloth they provide.

Exactly what I was anticipating and identical to pictures. Coating is good good quality and even. I’ve had to return other similar burners because they fail to show cheap moulds and coatings. This however was just as described without any surprise branding etc. Deeper than others with a higher price point - this by far is the best iron tripod I could find. Definitely satisfied with it

It's a good thing I got the deep one... it's barely enough to hold my cones. There's NO WAY it could hold a mosquito coil. Also the bottom is concave so it isn't easy getting cones to stand up. Oh, and you should know that the handle on the top gets very hot. Along with incense you can smell burning flesh if you're not careful.It's hard to beat cast iron. It works for me.
