Hard to give as a gift with such a messy torn box. All the different styles I bought of this item had the same problem.They work but so ugly and cheapened by the container if given for a gift. Elegant product in a less than acceptable box.Looks used, returned, etc. They must know when they are sending because it looks like an old box from manufacturer.

This thing is great. My aunt Mabel wanted to borrow $500 and we didn't have enough money to loan her. Then we got this and she came over and freaked out, how could we buy such a fancy toothpick holder? While we can't loan her any money? Anyway she's still not talking to us, though the toothpick holder is great.
