These are extremely fun. They turn on a dime and are incredibly playful. Just don't think you're going to be winning any races, since they don't love going fast in a straight line.Ski blades are a much easier entry into downhill snowsports than traditional skis (or snowboards) for anyone who is already comfortable on ice, inline, or roller skates. Just don't expect everything you learn to translate to full-size skis. The build quality is good. Not super premium, but up to K2's standards. Of all the components, the only parts that seem cheap are the leashes. You can always replace them if they bother you, though I definitely recommend using leashes on skis that don't have brakes (and it's required by most resorts).Adjusting the bindings is easy (and tool-free!) but not necessarily intuitive--I've lent them to friends who couldn't figure it out. Just look for a video online if you're confused.

Definitely get what you pay for. Look & feel cheap. But have been used a handful of times and are fine so far.

Took the fattys to Montana and they held up well. The bindings were a little tough to deal with. Wouldn’t recommend for an inexperienced skier.
