This is the authentic nut for Gibson toggle switches. When you buy a replacement Switchcraft, the included nut is just a sleeve. It usually does not have the recessed collar like this one. Gibson switches, on LPs in particular, sit a bit recessed in the hole. Makes it harder to accidentally switch them. So I appreciate these for keeping the authentic look and feel.

Funktionieren wie erhofft bei Toggles chinesischen Ursprungs. Können jedoch Nacharbeiten am Holz erfordern. Vergoldung erwartungsgemäß nicht über die Maßen dick dürften als schnell "vintage" aussehen. Sehr reeller Geldwert!

The pickup selector switch on my JPM150D kept constantly loosening, and sometimes simply fall to the ground and I'd lose the nut that holds it in place! So I got this, as replacement backup nuts.. lol.It turns out it is perfect, because a few light taps with a fret hammer, and this VERY snugly fits into the hole of the JPM150D's pickup selector switch hole! It NEVER moves now.. Cool!!

Review updated. Apparently, either the Studios used metric switches, or mine was swapped for metric at some point. The 15/32" but threads on this product are correct. Rating updated. Not sure how you would check before ordering except to take the old nut to a hardware store and test it on known screw threads.Would not screw down past the first thread. Would start, but then bind. Supposed to be imperial threads. May not have allowed clearance for plating when machining the threads.

This part is not usable on my guitar. It screws on but it stops before it gets all the way so I cant tighten it enough.

Unlike the Gibson brand this item was a little bit shy of being deep enough to for the Less Paul that I bought this for. I would have returned it but I lost one of them before I could.
