I have used it to bend 1.5" x 1/8" aluminum flat bar. easy and clean. i'm sure it will come in handy again in the future. great tool to have when you need it. heavy and strong.

The bends are not square or even. Putting marks and setting the gauge. It's okay for rough fabrication but not finish work.

Use this tool to make motor mounts and brackets for my car project. Bent 3/8 inch steel and quarter inch aluminum without problems. Tool seems durable and will probably last a long time.

It didn’t work very well then I noticed that the top strap was in a bind and wouldn’t work properly. Then I compared it to the picture on the box. That top strap is on upside down. Remove the pin, install the top strap properly and it works great.

Difficult to use, especially when tying to bend on a straight line. Bends are coming out crooked since the alignment line gets hidden when the metal is installed.

Good product and build quality. Only bent 1/8” x 2” wide mild steel; which it did this with ease. Mounted mine on a wooden hold down board and used spacers under each end of the metal to keep bend perpendicular.

Can’t go wrong with the price! So if people complain don’t listen. The unit works well and like every tool you need to learn it, it has a lot of moving parts but once you figure it out it’s fast. The bends have a much bigger radius than a sharp shop press brake but the tool it’s also 100 bucks not thousands for a proper press. I was bending some 1/8 steel brackets and I deducted 1/4” from each side or 1/2” overall and I got the exact inside measurement I was looking for. See attach pictures, I also show a bracket with a corner bent by a proper press brake and a corner bent by the kaka steel bender. You can compare. This is a great tools for small on the fly parts.

It's not a bad machine but the male die has a very round Edge so you're not going to get a sharp bend on anything. The edge is about a 3/8 radius, not a point and the female side of the die is quite rounded also. Unless you're trying for large radius bend, I wouldn't use this on anything less than 1/4 inch thick.

Works great on small jobs. I have been trying to use it without it being bolted to a bench. It really needs to be bolted down to make it easy to use. Nice tight bends.

I bought this tool to form a number of brackets for a go kart project. It works like a charm on everything I've thrown at it up to and including 1/4 inch by 1 inch steel bars. While there is some slight marking of the bent steel's surfaces, it's a lot less than I've seen on commercially produced parts. This is one of those tools that you'll wonder how you got along without it before using one. Highly recommended.
