This cooling pad is working well for keeping my kiddo cool in the stroller when we go out. Just put it in the fridge (5 to 10 mins) or freezer (no more than 5 mins), then pop it on the stroller and go. I wouldn't use it for a car seat unless I was just using it to cool the seat before I put my child in, as it's not advised to add anything to the carseat that might cause them to slide around, and this is really slippery in our carseats. However, for strollers and highchairs in warm places, it's doing well so far. It's got straps on the head portion that can be attached to the stroller or stroller straps to better keep it in place. We definitely use those.There are some drawbacks, however. The case broke upon opening, the zipper just popped right off and I couldn't get it back on, so I just threw the case away. I am now using an insulated formula bag to keep mine portable for travel. Even if the case didn't break, it's not a good case for keeping the pad cold for a bit. I have another similar cooling pad of the same style and shape. It came with an insulated carrying case that can also be refrigerated for longer cold storage. The case this pad comes with has no insulating qualities, and if not used immediately, the pad heats back up again with the outdoor temperatures. If you live in the deep south, this case will not help you keep the pad cool while outside, and it will basically need to be used as soon as you take it from the fridge/freezer.The pad also doesn't stay as cold as I would have liked for as long as we need it. I have to bring it and my other pad (with its insulated case) to make it through a longer stint outside in the stroller. It's only April, but the temps are already above 80F some days, so the fact it only provides about 30 mins of real cooling is a little disappointing. However, nothing seems to beat our heat, so I am sure in cooler climates with shade, it works for a while longer.This pad can also heat up, so don't leave it in your car! It gets hot enough to burn your little one, be sure to keep it with you when you are out and about, and don't expect a cool pad if you leave it somewhere very hot. I am experimenting with an ice pack added to the insulated formula holder with this pad to see if I can keep it colder for longer. In the summer heat, we will need all the time we can get.I do like this cooling pad. Something is definitely better than nothing in this heat. However, the case it comes with could certainly be improved upon, in both quality and functionality.

I was pretty unsure about this product because I had a hard time believing it could actually feel cooler than regular fabric. Happy to be proven wrong! The fabric that it’s made out of magically feels cool to the touch, and it’s actually filled with little gel cooling beads. The sensation reminds me of a gel ice pack, and I’m excited to try refrigerating it for maximum effect.It feels very heavy duty and well made, with a nice weight to it that helps it stay in place. The design is great, a pretty universal fit with slots for the various harness straps of the car seat. And it comes with a very handy carrying case! Overall it feels like a high quality, thoughtfully designed product. I think it’ll come in clutch for the hot summer days where our black car seat has been baking in the sun.

This is going to be such a great thing to have for the summer especially when we go on walks and such planning on putting into the stroller for my youngest. Have tested out and put in the freezer and put into my daughter's car seat in one of the days that it was 80° outside. Works very well but would suggest maybe putting a light blanket over it so it doesn't make them too cold. Just takes a few hours to get super cold. And comes in a nice little bag that you can pack into every time you want to put in the freezer or to take it to go on trips and such. I've never seen such a thing before so I thought it was pretty cool and well definitely help keep the kids nice and cool.

I have to say I’m super impressed with the quality of this cooling pad and also with how well it works. I figured it would have to be put in the fridge in order for it to be cooling, but the gel beads inside it and the outer material do have a cool feeling without any refrigeration. The shape of the pad makes it a great fit for strollers, car seats and could even be used in bouncy seats and swings. I got the Green Plant pattern and I really like it, it’s not a childish pattern and would work for girls and boys. The carrying bag that came with it is really nice and good quality. It makes it easy to store and travel with. This is a great item to have on hand for hot days and will be perfect for not only vacations and traveling, but also for everyday use.

This is going to be so nice when summer starts. It already gets hot and my toddler hates getting in his car seat. I leave this in the case in my fridge. When we are going somewhere I pull it out and lay it on the car seat. It’s nice and cool to the touch. It’s easy to fold up and put back in the case it comes with. Very nice to have!

Our summers get really hot here, which means the car seats also get really hot. This foldable pad is a great temporary solution for that problem. It arrived in a cute little zippered bag with handle, which is great for keeping it clean when not in use, and I’m happy to report that it was very easy to fold it up small enough to easily fit back inside. It’s designed to fit well over car seat surfaces and buckles, to cool them down and protect them from the sun. The biggest advantage of this cooling pad over others I’ve used is that it isn’t meant to freeze, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space in your fridge to cool initially. The biggest miss with his product is that it arrives with absolutely no instructions. I had to go back to the product page to verify if it was meant to be cooled in the fridge or the freezer. Only there does it specify to cool it in the fridge or freezer if not longer than 5 minutes. It would’ve been incredibly helpful if a single insert with that information was provided. Since it’s mostly cooled in the fridge, it doesn’t hold the cold for too long. This is great for when I’m running out to pick up my kids from school, but for an all-day outing, it’s going to have little impact on the comfort of the drive home.
