I love this uke. I shopped around for awhile and decided I liked this one the best. I’ve never played any string instruments before so I am an absolute beginner. I bought this for myself as a birthday present.Pros:1. Total beginner package. It comes with everything you need to get started.2. It sounds beautiful. I love the tone and sound quality that this ukulele delivers.3. The craftsmanship is awesome. The wood is laminate but it’s beautiful. I think the laminate gives it a better sound.4. The customer service from the seller is top notch. If there are any problems, I have no doubts that they would quickly make it right.Cons:1. The laminate makes it extremely light. Almost to the point of feeling fragile. But if you treat the ukulele like you should, you’ll have no problems. I take this with me on trips all the time and have not had one issue.Really the con isn’t even a con. It’s just something to keep in mind.Overall, if you’re in the market for a beginner or intermediate ukulele, buy this. I have not regretted this purchase for a single second.

What a beautiful Ukulele! Was looking for an instrument that was eye-catching and the dark grained Ebony provided that look! The mellow tones it creates are amazing as well! So happy I chose this as my upgrade from a beginner ukulele!

I will start with the good. This is a great looking ukulele. Very unique and exotic wood look. Feels great in your hands. The built in tuner is convenient. The bundle included a nice well padded case as well as other extras.Now for the not so good. This ukulele has a very noticeable string buzz on the C string from open position up to the 3rd fret. Just makes playing unsatisfactory. This was an upgrade for my daughter that has been playing a $60 ukulele for the last 3 years (which still plays great) and I figured, being this was 4 times the price, that it would be made with a lot more attention to detail. OR the seller would check them before delivery to a customer. Also I have a Kala KA-T (which was half the price of this one) and that came with sealed tuners yet this one came with open geared tuners (just an FYI). Another small thing is the supplied battery was just about dead on arrival, it came installed in the tuner, so not sure if this was a previously returned unit.In the end we hope this gets resolved since this ukulele does have great potential.I have written the seller 2 days ago and am still waiting for a response. I will update accordingly.**UPDATE 1/17/20**The seller has been very accommodating and worked with us promptly. My daughter is able to keep her ukulele and they are paying for us to get it set up locally. They offered for us to return it and get a full refund, however my daughter likes it so much she choose to get this one fixed. I’ve had about 5 different Kalas and this is the most unique looking one so far. Also we’ve experimented with the pick up and plugged it into a BOSS GT effects pedal and it definitely adds to the fun. Now that we’ve had it for a bit I actually feel the open geared tuners add to the look better than the sealed tuners would have. We are very happy and look forward to years of enjoyment with it.

This uke is awesome, and sounds equally great plugged or unplugged. Electronic tuner works really well too. Beautiful fit and finish. No sharp edges anywhere. Honestly, I can’t put it down. The laundry and dishes are piling up. Came with a nice hard case. Highly recommend!

My ukulele arrived yesterday and I’ve been been tuning and playing it all day. It’s a beautiful piece and very well built will deeper mellow sounds. The only issue I have is the gig bag that came with it is way too small for my ukulele. If I could return or replace it then I could give this product 5 stars, but now I will have to pay extra to buy a new case.Edit: I was able to get a hold of customer service and they were fantastic! Very easy to talk to and shipped out a bigger bag to me that same day. This has been one of my best purchases in a while!
