How to Play Online Video from the Built-in Multimedia System
1. Turn on your phone's personal hotspot
2. Click 'Settings', click 'Wi-Fi', select your phone's hotspot and enter the password.
3. After a successful network connection, then you could enjoy online audios or videos from YouTube, Netflix, Music & MV, and Satellite World TV.
Note: To watch live free TV on World TV, you need to select a second free channel when you turn it on.
How to Auto Connect Wireless Carplay or Android Auto?
You just need to enter general settings and chooes startup Options: carplay/android auto/android to set it.

The biggest issue with most wireless CarPlay devices is that their chip cannot be upgraded, resulting in frequent connection issues caused by outdated firmware. KAMING Z3 magic box includes a chip that is the quickest in production and allows you to seamlessly upgrade the device at your leisure. Is there a time frame for when this unit will be getting an update?
We don't have a fixed time frame for upgrading the system, but we are listening and collecting feedback from every user on a daily basis. We have two kinds of upgrade plans: The first upgrade plan is a special upgrade plan for the product issue of special car models, such as the problem of incomplete screen display in some new models of Ford or GMC brands. In this case, you need to provide your car model and device version information page to us. We will try our best to solve the problem for you. The second upgrade plan is a general upgrade plan for all users. At present, the second-generation general-purpose version will be optimized in response to frequent customer feedback in the past two months. However, due to the large number of car models, it still takes a certain amount of time to complete the stability test. Once a new version is released, we will try our best to notify every user, and you can occasionally pay attention to the version information page or product information page of the device to learn about the latest developments. Once a new version is released, you can complete the upgrade online by connecting to the Internet. (Currently, our version has been updated to May 10th. If you need an update, please consult us.)
How to Screen Mirroring to Your Car?
1.Make sure your WLAN is On.
2.Connect to phone hotspot or the same wifi name between the box and your devices:
Turn on the “Personal Hotspot” on your Phone, connect the carplay adapter to your personal hotspot OR connect the carplay adapter to the same wifi name as your Phone/iPad/Tablet.
3.Different devices have different restrictions and screen projection methods.
(1) For iPhone: Select the 'screen mirror' function on your iPhone and select the device name to connect.
(2) For Android devices: Open the app you want to mirror, then click the mirroring function on the app to mirror.
(3) For Windows or Mac OS devices: Open Google Chrome, click the "..." button in the upper right corner, select “Cast”, and choose the projection method you want.
4. When I use the iPhone to cast the screen, why is there only sound but no video image?
Note: IOS and Mac OS devices don't support mirroring those apps with subscription services due to HDCP copyright protection, like Netflix, Youtube, Disney+, Amazon Prime, HBO, Spotify, Sky Go, Directv, etc. But don't worry, the new version of the system will add more applications that cannot be mirrored to the device. You are welcome to write to us and provide more suggestions.
Important 1: If you are casting screen through connect a mobile phone hotspot but cannot find the device name, please disconnect the hotspot and re-enter the hotspot password and reconnect the hotspot.
Important 2: If your car has both wireless CarPlay and wired CarPlay, and you have successfully connected wireless CarPlay before, before using this AI Box, please find the Bluetooth name of the OEM radio, and select ‘Forget this device’.
How to Conncet Wireless Carplay and Android Auto?
1. Plug the magic box into the car USB prot which is the same USB port when you use to connect wired carplay.
2. Wait and the Android 11 home page will appear, as shown in Figure 2.
3. Forget regular Bluetooth & Wifi between your car and phone, select CarPlay or Android Auto button to get the device name.
4. Turn on your phone's Bluetooth & WLAN, select the Bluetooth name of the box: Z3 Box-XXX.
5. Select “Pair” and “Allow” button to complete synchronization and connection.
6. Wait for Wireless Carplay or Wireless Android Auto to start.
How to turn on Auto Connect?
Select: Settings-General Settings-Starup options- Carplay or Android auto
Important 1: How to return to the menu after entering the carplay page?
Click the sixth button on the carplay page. The logo and text displayed by this button are different for different brand models. As shown in the figure above, the sixth button on the carplay page of our car is "JETTA"!

But they cannot be used at the same time. For driving safety, please do not watch TV while driving!
I'm sure my car supports wired carplay, but why doesn't it work when the device is plugged in?
1. Please make sure that the usb port that the device is plugged into is the same usb port that the wired CarPlay is usually connected to. The correct USB port may be marked with a CarPlay logo or an image of a smartphone.
2. Since our device is developed based on CARPLAY, we need to enter our device through the CARPLAY path of the vehicle. Please check that the connection setting of your car's startup application is CARPLAY by default, if it is Android Auto or other applications, please enter the vehicle settings and change the default connection to CARPLAY. Please refer to the operation video on the details page.

How to Use HDMI Cinema Mode?
1. Plug the USB-C cable end into the Carplay adapter, and the other USB-A end into a USB plug for a power supply.
2. Plug the HDMI to HDMI Cable into the HDMI port of the Carplay adapter and your HDMI display (TV/Projector/Monitor).
3. When HDMI display jump into the User Interface, connect a USB mouse to the USB-A port of the Carplay adapter to control.
4. Click the WLAN on the upper right corner, then connect it to your home wifi and then you'll be able to watch movies through built-in apps like netflix youtube and world tv. Or you can turn on the super cast app to project your phone or computer screen onto your TV.

1. Will it work on my vehicle?
Most importantly, Your vehicle must support Wired CarPlay ! That means it usually has a USB port marked with a CarPlay logo or an image of a smartphone. If you want to further confirm whether it can be used for your car, you can send an email or post a question.
2. My vehicle support wireless CarPlay, can I use this Carplay Box?
Please check if your vehicle has such a USB port that supports wired CarPlay for data exchange. if so, you can use this Ai_Box. Important Tip: If your car has both wireless CarPlay and wired CarPlay, and you have successfully connected wireless CarPlay before, please turn on Bluetooth settings on your iPhone, find Bluetooth name of the OEM radio, and select ‘Forget this device’, then wait for the AI Box to boot up, and connect its bluetooth.
3. Why doesn't the hot spot connect automatically when I get in the car?
1.Please make sure hotspot is on now, iPhone hotspot will automatically turn off when not used for a long time. 2.Please confirm whether the device has been connected to carplay or android auto before connecting to the hotspot. If yes, you need to manually turn on the box wifi setting and ensure that the hotspot of the phone is on, then it will auto connect. We can't play online video software while using carplay or android auto.
4. If I don't have a WiFi hotspot,is there any other way to watch online videos ?
It must be connected to a WiFi hotspot to play online streaming. But you can still play video files by Usb flash drive ,without a hotspot.
5. I have an unlimited data plan on my phone, why can't I play videos on Netflix/YouTube smoothly?
As far as we know, some unlimited data plans will stop user from use WiFi hotspots, when some others come with a fixed amount of “unthrottled” data. Once that amount is used up, the carrier slows down your transfer speed to a level that supports email and such, but not video. If you find
yourself unable to stream videos on Netflix or YouTube, please check your Hotspots data usage or contact your carrier.

This product works as advertised. I do have some complaints about it though. Some days it will not connect to YouTube. You'll have to turn it off and on several times. You should expect to spend about 5 minutes trying to get YouTube to work. Also if your car is very hot the device will not work so you should unplug it if the car is going to be sitting in the sun.

8.3/10 - Picked this up to replace a carlinkit that decided to just die one day.Cons_____A couple little things, the main menu clock and date resets everyday (could be something to do with how my cars power is set up). The apps that come stock are it, thought there would be a play store app or something to be able to utilize more than just the apps that come with. Probably every 3 out of 7 times when trying to auto connect it fails for one reason or another. There is a significant audio delay between what’s on your phone and your speakers.Pros______You can add your own boot video with sound. The apps that do come with it and have any use for seem to work as normal. The screen cast is pretty awesome (only downside is you need tethering on your cell phone for it to work, updated my cell phone plan just for that. Can add an external usb for extended music/movies. Has a HDMI output but haven’t had any reason to use it. Wish it was HDMI input so I could use a fire stick or chrome cast.Honest opinion - There are better options out there for the same if not less. Just saying.

I really wanted to like this device, but after using it for a few months, I had to disconnect it and give up on it. The biggest issue is how SLOW it is, the hardware is way too underpowered for the software, so everything takes forever, you'll click a button to load YouTube, and it will take 30-60 seconds to load, then you click a video and it takes another 60 seconds to load (if it ever does). That brings me to the next issue, most of the time it just doesn't work. YouTube videos may load eventually, but a few days later none will load and it will just keep spinning, and the only way to fix it is to do a complete factory reset on the unit. I got sick of having to do that every few days. And other features like Android casting don't work, you get an error saying it's an "Untrusted device" and couldn't be verified, so you can't cast to it. So definitely save your money, I may try another brand to see if they have more powerful hardware that can keep up, but this one is definitely not worth the money.
