InSink Aerator units are great but plagued with cheap, plastic parts like the housing of the air switch which are prone to cracking and will eventually. This robust, attractive replacement is perfect. Just connect the switch-end of the air hose and you'll be happy the old one cracked to have this stellar part replace it.

This switch is awesome - looks great, well made - but it nearly costs the same as a faucet (lower priced one, but still). If the $ doesn't bother you, buy away. I did and don't regret it but this should be priced at about $20 or $25.

Main point: Great build quality but not had long enough to determine if stuck button issue in installation issue or product defect.Long review:I have a insinkrator push button. The button cracked in half. Could not bare the idea of paying $25 for another piece of crap. (By the way to avoid this whole issues check the nut on the button. As it backs off and loosens it puts side stress on the button threaded shaft that lead to the crack but if your here my guess is this is a moot point)I saw this one and the idea of brass was attractive and I have a boat and reminds be of a quality thru-hull fitting.It does not disappoint in that aspect. Heavy solid build feels quality. Like the set screws to avoid the nut from backing off like the original one. No one likes crawling under the sink to retighten a nut or anything else.My one issue is no instructions were included. Pretty simple but simple numbered diagram would been nice. I just used my original air hose and did not realize there was lock nut to hold down the air hose that came with the replacement hose. Also it was unclear to me which side the black rubber gasket went at first I figured it out but diagram showing thru fitting would explain that.Only had it a few days so I can’t say for certain any performance issues. Several reviews about button getting stuck. I have an idea what might actually be the issue. When I first put this together I played around with the function not having fully installed using the original air hose and sometimes the button got “stuck” and could not turn it off. What was actually happening was the air hose seal broke this thing works pneumatic pressure. If the seal broken the button somehow gets out of sync. Once in properly installed and added the air hose locking thread I could not re-create the stuck button issue. But time will tell and will update if I have issues.

It’s very sturdy we tried another brand and it broke after 3 pushes the one we ordered off Amazon was quite a bit cheaper as well

Strong metal, nice look, easy installation

I converted my 60/40 split kitchen sink to a 36 inch workstation sink and absolutely love how it turned out. I’ve been saving a long time to refresh my sink in lieu of doing an entire kitchen remodel and was going for a unique, modern design to update my kitchen. I have a 36 in side cabinet that my contractor cut the side to allow the workstation sink to fit. We added the appropriate bracing under the sink at the cabinets walls, creating a “shelf “ for the sink to rest on. We also had a fabricator cut a larger opening into the existing granite countertop to receive the new sink. While the sink is kicked over by 1/2 -3/4 inch to the left, it had to be installed this way since that’s where I had space. My contractor met the needs of the project and did a fantastic job.My sink refresh consisted of the following products: Serene Valley Workstation Kitchen Sink, 36-inch Thick-Deck Dual Mount, DDWG3622R; Fonveth Contemporary Design Kitchen Sink Countertop Soap Dispenser Pump Matte Black, Delta Faucet Lenta Matte Black Kitchen Faucet Touch Matte Black 19802TZ-BL-DST , Insinkerator Instant Hot Water 0.66 gal dispenser, Insinkerator Indulge Modern Series 1-Handle 9.25 in. Faucet for Instant Hot Water Dispenser in Matte Black, KANARY Garbage Disposal Air Switch Button for Counter Top (Square ,Matte Black), and Insinkerator Badger 900 ¾ HP garbage disposal. I didn’t take a picture of my base cabinet inside, but I added a trash can pull-out Rev-A-Shelf Single 32 Quart Reduced Depth Bottom Mount Waste Container (11595468), a foot pedal to open the cabinet door without my hands ENVI Kick Hands-Free Door Opening Foot Pedal (11520333), and a Never MT soap dispenser conversion kit which saves me from having to fill the little soap dispenser bottle all the time. The window shade is VENETA Designer Room Darkening Roller Shades in Villa Midnight.The Serene Valley Workstation Sink has a low 50/50 divider and each basin is large enough for big pots to sit flat in the basin to wash. The sink came with a cutting board which slides across the workstation left to right, as well as sink grids. Next, I found the Fonveth Contemporary Design Kitchen Sink Countertop Soap Dispenser Pump Matte Black as well as the KANARY Garbage Disposal Air Switch Button for Counter Top (Square ,Matte Black). Both are square shaped in Matte Black and complete my modern design. For my faucet, the Delta Faucet Lenta Matte Black Kitchen Faucet Touch Matte Black 19802TZ-BL-DST is really cool. All I have to do when I have messy hands is tap the faucet for it to turn on or off. The only thing that I have to get used to is the faucet turning on when I accidentally bump it when cleaning. I found that if I place a hand on the faucet and use my other hand to clean, it “grounds” the faucet from turning on if I accidentally bump it. I didn’t buy the AC adapter for the faucet and have easy access to changing its batteries if I need to. I love the Instant Hot Water Dispenser and Insinkerator faucet. I can’t believe I went without one for so long. I can’t say enough about the hidden pleasures in the trash can pull out, the hands-free opening foot pedal and the Never MT soap dispenser conversion kit. These items are relatively affordable if you’re looking to add some convenience and ease to your kitchen set up.
