In the official document "Rd-03 serial communication protocol", page 6 line 5, it is stated that "The default port rate of radar serial port is 115200". I tried 2 of the modules and failed to get any result. I returned the module and tried the HLK brand whose document stated that the baud rate is 225600. It worked. I think that the wrong description about the baud rate was the cause of the failure.

I decided not to use this because of the radiation it produces. It is supposed to be low energy and non-ionizing, but these are really high frequencies with a lot less testing compared to 2.4ghz wifi. 2.5ghz is also 'non-ionizing' and yet it causes dna damage still. Bottom line, I recommend going with an IR or PIR detector instead of this. Why risk it?

Bought this for a "people detector" project. Worked fine with open-source libraries with Arduino, but the non-standard connector was a bit of a pain.
