This vendor seems excellent for batteries in old electronics. This pack worked perfectly in an emergency radio purchased long ago. I also have their batteries in a digital camera purchased long ago.

Well, the new battery works as advertised and I can now use our old Eton FRX1 radio once more. The only problem is that the battery is just slightly larger (couple of mm’s) than the old one. It doesn’t fit in the slot for the battery. Rather than return the battery, I will just cover up the battery with electrical tape.

The battery got really hot really quickly when plugged into a USB port. I double checked volts and amps compared to the other battery. Match, and then I looked at the red and black wire and that didn't match my old battery configuration. I am disapointed.

I came upon an old Eton multiband radio a few weeks ago. I had rarely used it. However, it did (in its day, long, long ago) enjoy a favorable rating, and I had seen that it might "fit a niche" in my gear. Sadly, the internal battery had, unsurprisingly, "perished".BUT, I found this replacement, ordered the same, and installed the little guy in about 45 seconds. So, I again have three (3) charging options: hand crank; solar cell; and...this little guy.2022, and I, again, have another "back up to the back up to the back up" in the event of...whatever. If nothing else, I might find some bright and interested young person who might enjoy playing around with it.

This item was supposed to fit my radio but did not. Their return policy requires me to pay postage which entails a trip to the post office which is only open while I'm at work.

I requested a return sine I could not make it work when plugged in. It turned out the plug was the issue.

This is an exact replacement for the battery in my emergency radio. I thought that I might have to throw the radio away, but I found this. It works great, and I expect it to be useful for the future.
