A name that matches the performance. I bought one to try and now have 6. Almost impossible to backlash and a buttery smooth retrieve team up with an instant drag system making one of the best if not the best reel at the $100 price point.

at first, I was quite skeptical about this reel. The reason is that I own 4 Kasting reels and don't use them because they just feel too cheap to me in my hand so they sit and collect dust. However, this reel is legit aluminum construction and those auto-adjust centrifugal breaks are the bee's knees. I was throwing a lipless and couldn't believe how far I was throwing it, I'll put it this way my DC's don't contend with it.. lol

I couldn't be more happy than I am. I'm a newbie to baitcasters and this reel is so so easy to operate and use. I want another one so bad and they are well worth the money. The braking system is top notch in my opinion very light weight reel smooth casts every cast looks amazing and performance is awesome I've only had one small backlash due to MY errors not the reels. This is my first castking reel. Price is good. I've now have used it on several trips to the river. 12lbs test and it casts very smooth. Have landed about 40 salmon on this reel and it performs amazing.

Even the directions show magnetic and centrifugal brake. But internal braking system has changed as you can see in photos.
