You know that annoying sound when you're low on steering fluid? Well, this thing makes that noise even when full of fluid. I didn't give it 1 star because it does actually work much better than the broken steering pump it replaced. Price was right, and delivered quick.

This was perfect. It was the easiest thing I've ever replaced on my vehicle. If you have a day or two, I'd say buy it online and save a bunch of money. I also suggest that you do it yourself. Easy fix. Thank you.

Installed this pump and transferred the pulley to this new unit and was up and running queit again within 10mins.

I bought this KAX Power Steering Pump for my 2005 Honda Civic, hoping to save some money and fix the steering problem myself. It was a big mistake. The pump was defective from the start. It worked fine for about 10 minutes and then started making a loud whining noise and leaking fluid from the low pressure side. I had to remove it and reinstall the old one, which was a hassle. I wasted my time and money on this product. I do not recommend it to anyone. Stay away from this brand and look for a better quality pump.
