Major upgrade from my old ricer. I’ve only used it for potatoes so far which it handled the job with no issues and seems to be good quality / heavy duty. The silicone handles are great from keeping your hands from slipping. The tab at the end of the river lets you rest it on a bowl or pot which is a nice addition. I haven’t used all the screens but would like to do spaetzle which it has a screen for. Would definitely recommend. I would have expected this to be more expensive.

This is a quality potato ricer! I had been on the lookout for a good, well made, potato ricer because my son can't stand mashed potatoes with any lumps in them so blending them with a hand blender was not working. This ricer has 4 different discs for 4 texture settings. It has a comfortable rubber grip and ergonomic handle that makes using it a breeze. It has a grooved pot rest for stability. It's user friendly and versatile. It's easy to switch between the different plates if needed. It is easy to take apart and clean as well.

I really decided to step up my mashed potato game with this ricer, and it’s been great so far. I typically buy golden potatoes which I personally feel are softer, and they mash really well. This is much less messy than a hand mixer and I love that it comes with multiple inserts with different size holes depending on the texture you’re going for. It’s easy to use and easy to clean. I’m not sure why I imagined it would be much smaller than it is because of course it needs to fit a potato inside of it, so maybe think about where you’ll store it before you order one. But it’s definitely worth having in any kitchen.

Finally retiring my old (an actual antique) ricer. Although the old cast iron handle is nice, this offers much more in the way of creativity with the different mesh dies. The first test was spaetzle for some outdoor grill vegetable pouches and the results were exactly what I hoped for. I've already used it for a few things, none of the actually being potatoes yet. I noted that the amount of content left in the ricer after pressing was minimal compared to the older one. That is a result of the tighter design tolerances and how everything fits together. The design is also much easier to clean. Overall, I good upgrade from a unitasker to a multi-tasker.

This works exactly as expected, with a convenient handle to prop it on top of a bowl or pot while ricing potatoes or other root veggies. It comes with multiple perforated plates for making spaetzle which I've never used, but it's nice to have the option in case I ever get the urge to try.

This potato ricer comes with 4 different size die which opens up many more options of what you can do with it. You can achieve different textures, use it to press liquid from things, or try things like spaetzle. It has a decent heft to it, without being too heavy to handle. There is silicone on the handles, which helps with grip when pressing down. There is also an additional tab/handle on the end that many ricers don't have. I found it very handy just for holding, but also to help prop it on a bowl when I was using it to provide support. It was almost like a third hand! Sometimes it's the little things that are really helpful.The mechanism seems smooth, and feels durable. For the price, this seems like a multi-functional and quality product.
