Finally, those are direct replacement for SQUIER strat, no mods at all.So far, they are working fine.

They're okay but still a disappointment. They are far better than what they replaced.They are approximately 1mm shorted on the hole mount side than what they replaced, however the holes lined up but there are gap between them. That showed of they were they slightly crooked as that goes 0.25mm. When both sides are off, that 0.5mm is noticeable and not by being picky.The second thing that I did see, but was hoping was incorrect - yes, the knobs turn like 5mm without gear engagement when change directions. In other locking tuners in this level of brand and cost - there was zero play. So, that just maybe how they, or these are. So, unless to spend 2-3x's more - these are still smooth, so far. However, have some oil ready for them since they are not prelubed as far as I could tell. I use either high quality 3n1 or "gun oil".The final not so great thing was, they have a lightweight feel, no "heftyness". The replaced units had heft if even rattled as I removed them. But these are tight otherwise.So, for me, 2-stars is accurate as I see it per the listing description. I wanted to give 3-stars, but the 5mm rotation take up and ~1mm shorter edge surprised me.For me I expected a 4-star product which for me is about max of what I give unless some extraordinary thing is part of it; that rarely happens in my observation.So, if need these - I'd get them; or pay the 2-3x's higher for the next available offering.I think the OEM if wanted to could fix the issues I discuss - they did it this way - doing it 100% correct would have the same cost as my experience with these go.So, I hope that helps someone!

These tuner’s are awesome for the money not the absolute best but better than most for $20 they are a steal
