I just installed this on the third toilet in my house after the first two worked perfectly! I've had to replace one after several years of use, but that's to be expected. These are much quieter and more reliable than traditional float valves. Those who are unsatisfied are probably not understanding how it works and not installing or adjusting it appropriately.

The fill valve works great, just like my old one. Now the flapper, it don’t seal good so your water will leak out and cost you a high water bill. Don’t waste your money on the flapper. Bought 2, kits, both flapper crap. 3 stars

Just discovered after several months that the valve never really shuts off. I checked after installing to see if the water level remains constant, and it did, for a while.I have no idea when it started leaking, but it was still running water into the bowl at a rather substantial rate after filling the tank and "shutting off." The level is initially below the overflow tube, but gradually rises until it is constantly dumping water into the bowl. I can't wait to see my water bill this quarter.Do not bother with this item. it's not worth the hassle or the risk. Obviously, it's too late to return it, so it's a double waste of money. I will stick with Fluidmaster after this, at least they have a decent warranty.

The fill valve itself seems to fill quickly and shuts off solid.Easy to install but I had to trim the flapper a bit to fit my particular older model toilet.I cut the round piece out and trimmed as necessary so the flapper was not restricted.The fill valve gasket was a bit small so I used my old gasket with a light touch of silicon sealer. That stopped any leaks. Next i accidently broke the flapper tube off, maybe it was weak. I used super glue to hold it then applied some Urethane bumper repair epoxy around the base. Nice and solid now. Now its all working like a champ. I like these small fill valves over the big clunky ones. Just needed a few tweaks which maybe be unnecessary on others. The flapper works really well and has a ten year life. Price is right and I have seen these last a long time.

I found them years ago, it cuts all the floaters or bobbers and all moving parts. it works actually works by PSI ( Pressure Square Inch ) And has an adjustable knob on top to fill to full line, the only problem I have had is sand tens to malfunction the the unit and will keep water flowing I take it apart and blow them out with air

Great, easy replacement. Works great and on a scale of 1 of to 10 ( 10 being difficult) it’s a 3. Don’t hesitate to purchase this product.

I have used Fill Pro in my toilets for years. I have owned several rentals over the years and would only put Fill Pro in them because they are so durable and don't leak.I was a little concerned to order this because it wasn't a Fill Pro and theire are mixed reviews. But it seems to be a good quality piece and it was easy to install. It seems to be working fine. And the cost was less than I normally pay.The only negative would be the flapper that came with it. It doesn't fit my plumbing inside so I didn't use it. It would not stay up while the bowl was draining. I didn't expect to get one anyway so it wasn't a big deal. But if you need it out may not fit your pipe.

I used this fill valve in an older 3.5 gallon flush American Standard toilet.No issues installing unit. Very quiet and surprisingly quick to refill tank.No issues with flap valve.
