I only gave these four starts as I have yet to see how they perform or how long they last in real conditions. They are pointed rather than squared off as the Schwalbe carbide studs are and certainly are cheaper than the replacement bike tire studs that I currently run on a set of Schwalbe Ice Spiker Pros. I have the original tool that came with the 50 pack of Schwalbe studs so installing these wasn't an issue for me. For others who don't have an insertion tool, perhaps one should be included with these. I did notice that they required a bit more force to seat them properly in the hole but that might be a good thing.

I bought these for my Schwalbe winter tires, much cheaper than the company's studs and they are identical.UPDATE: After using for a couple of weeks, I've noticed these studs are getting rusty from all the salt on the roads, while the OEM studs from Schwalbe are fine. They may still be a decent deal given the high price of legit Schwalbe studs, only time will tell.
