Couldn't find a rope that successfully matched the unit

This isn't necessary a low cost cheap item, but I use it to control the rope on my safety harness for Fall Prevention when on top of tall infrastructure doing installation and repairs. It works well, is sturdy, doesn't fail when the rope is wet and has a good solid lock feel. I have 2 of these and would recommend them for anyone wanting to rope on safe but be able to move around and shorten or lengthen their tether. I would recommend these.

I used this as a safety arrestor for climbing up on my roof. It's very solidly built, and hung on to my ~10mm rope very well.
