Charges and heats quickly. The fact that it's cordless (and is thin) lets me use it in tight spaces. The trigger actuates through the full length so you can accurately dispense a small amount of glue. The included glue sticks ares a nice touch and work fine, it's the standard size.Updating my review after using it extensively for a weekend: The battery life isn't great. It takes a few hours to charge, but will enter the low battery state after about 20 or so uses. After deciding to simply leave it plugged in after every use to keep it topped off, I realized it cannot be used plugged in, so you have to unplug it every time. The charge port very quickly broke even after delicate use, making it completely unusable after about two days. I plan on reaching out to the seller.

I've tried cordless glue guns before and was left unimpressed with their functionality. I happen to like this one a lot, probably because it's very small and uses SUPER small glue sticks which makes it pretty easy to use. This is literally a glue pen, not a glue gun, and the stream of hot glue that comes out the tip is really small. This is perfect for doing fine detail work and I like it a ton. The battery does NOT last very long... 20-30 max before needing a recharge which I don't love, but that's usually long enough to get a few small projects out of the way. Give this one a try!

I also have a corded glue gun as well but a lot of the time I was too lazy to drag it out to use with all the cords and looking for a place to plug in the gun, quite a bit of hassle as you can imagine :). But seriously though, this is so much easier and more convenient to have and use and I can just pop it out not having to look for an outlet, and bam, job done :). For instance, when working on my vehicles, I don't have to drag out the extension cord for those small, quick, and easy jobs. I mean I still use the corded gun as well but only for bigger and time-consuming jobs. Other than that, I am so glad I got this little guy, it heats up fast and is easy to use, just press the little Red button near the micro USB-C charging port and it should be ready in a few secs. The other nice thing is it comes with its own micro USB-C charger or adapter as well. I know it says USB-C charging on the product page but it's not a big deal, tomato, or tomaato, all it matters to me is that it works cordlessly.

There are several things that I really like about this hot glue gun. It heats up in 30 seconds as advertised. The older ones I've used that plug in usually take a few minutes to get up to temperature. Second of all, this is cordless! I love that.However, the one thing that I don't like is that it was advertised as USB-C for charging (both in the item title and description), but when I opened up the package I found that it was micro-USB, which is an older connector. It would have been much better to use USB-C since pretty much all of our modern devices charge using that connector.
