I like everything about this glue gun except that it gets way too hot. The glue comes out of the nozzle boiling and then froths up like a foam. I've tried a few different high temperature glues sticks including the yellow ones that come with it and get the same result from all. It is too bad because everything else about the gun is great!

Glue stick stops being fed due to a gash on underneath glue stick. Thus, it will Not feed into gun. It’s a great gun other than this. Need to return if approved.

Bought it to fasten my fish finder Transducer through my scupper hole in my kayak. I just glued it in place and it's extremely secure in place, in fact it's so secure I glue my Fish finder mount instead of using the screws. I can move the kayak by holding on to the mount. I have another glue gun and it pulled right off after cooling off. So yes I'm very happy with my purchase, and you have my full recommendation.Thank you!

The KeLDE glue gun was ordered for use in my workshop on DIY projects.I had and used glue guns in the past and non of them match the quality of this glue gun. First, although I'll probably never need the output, this glue gun can deliver 2.5 pounds of glue per hour. That's a lot of glue !!I tested the glue gun in my workshop, and it took about 2.5 - 3 minutes to warm up to the heating level I wanted. For me, in contrast to other guns I've had, that's quick. I don't know that I need it to be that quick, but it's still a good advantage for those who do. Also, when I tested the unit, I unplugged the unit and waited for a minute before gluing. The gun still had plenty of heat to keep the glue pliable and flowing. So, there is a good deal of power in this gun for keeping the glue soft. The unit is very stable on its base, and I did not have any issues in tipping it over when the gun was in its base. Finally, this gun comes with 10 glue sticks that are a relatively standard diameter of .43".I saw a review that indicated the glue gun boils the glue. I did not have that experience. It was hot like the glue should be, but did not come out of the gun flowing like lava.BOTTOM LINE: This is one great glue gun. It provided hot glue that gave excellent adhesion for the purposes it is intended to do. I like it and would order it again.

I wasn't sure whether to stick things together with this or "set it to stun". It's pretty large, I like the stand on the bottom.Only recently have I come to discover the uses for hot glue. A while back, I reupholstered a guitar case and it was indispensable. I did that project with a typical little crafting glue gun, and I wanted an upgrade for future use.I was building some light duty boxes to slide under my bed. The bottoms were just 1/8" hardboard, the sides were OLD 1/2" particle board. I stuck the bottoms on with wood glue and narrow crown staples. I was just about to bring them in the house when I realized that, in several places, the staples had blown through the hardboard and the glue had not bonded. Perfect time to try out the new hot glue gun!It worked well and made a good bond. There won't be any notable pressure pulling this joint apart so I'm sure the bond will be sufficient. In this big glue gun, I like the large sticks, but I wasn't too sure about the yellow glue; it seemed to be pretty stiff, yet appeared to be coming out with bubbles in it. It did a great job, but I'm curious to try some other glue sticks.I like the removable power cord and power switch - kind of redundant, but whatever. You can keep it on a workbench without unplugging it, so that's a plus. I didn't have the usual issue with glue dripping from the nozzle, I'm not sure if that was due to thicker glue or if the gun isn't really getting hot enough. The glue seemed to flow sufficiently though. It seemed to stick my two inferior manufactured "wood" products together quite well as far as I could tell.As others have mentioned, a temperature adjustment would be a nice addition, just a simple hi/lo or hi/med/lo would be great, it might support the "Professional" description a little, but honestly, I didn't have any issue with the temperature or feel a need to change it.One complaint - mine arrived missing the metal flip-down support that attaches under the nozzle. At least with the snap on stand, it's not a vital piece. If I find a need for it later, I can probably bend up something that will work.

I bought this glue gun on a whim to use in my two year old classroom and I could not be more happy!!! It heats up so fast! The trigger is super easy to push, and the glue it came with is holding up great against two year olds!! The on and off switch comes in handy when I have to plug it in behind a shelf and just want to switch it off instead of unplugging it. Out of all the glue guns I have owned, and that's quite a few, this one is by far my favorite!!
