This KEMIMOTO UTV Tool holder is of a rubber or silicone like plastic material which kind of clamps your “tools” in place. It kind of takes prying the clamp part of the holder apart a bit to get it to secure hold your tools. It was quite easy to install, however it is not held securely, but rather loosely and bounces around. So I used an additional ratchet strap to secure it to prevent the bouncing while the UTV is in motion. I’ve gotten other KEMIMOTO products and been quite happy with them. But for the cost, I think this needs to be designed a bit better to keep it secure.

I absolutely love this gun holder! I spend a lot of time working on my farm, and I like to carry both a shotgun and a rifle with me in my UTV. This holder keeps my guns secure and steady, even when I’m driving over rough terrain and bouncing around. The design is super sturdy, and it holds everything in place without scratching or damaging my guns.

This is such a great idea, and I love that it keeps your “tools” off the roof and out of the elements a bit more. If you are going to be taking a bumpy ride, then this will require a little extra strapping to keep it from bouncing around. The good news is that it holds your “tools” well and gives you a safe, easy, secure way to transport them. It also is made to hold them securely without scuffing them up, which is a nice bonus. I have quite a few Kemimoto products, and so far, they are still going strong, so I have high hopes for this one as well.

Holds the rifles and "tools' firmly but has a bit more play than I would like. That is easily fixed with some additional strapping. Not sure if it is better than a v rack but this does keep it out of the rain.

Nice easy install to add a “tool” holder to your side by side. It installs using the seatbelt and you can choose to go through the bottom or over the top depending on your setup. It holds “tools” firmly and with non-marking heavy duty foam.

I recently got this universal gun rack for bench servicing as well as mounting in a seat, and it has done a great job so far. Vehicle/UTV installation process was easy, thanks to the simple mounting system that holds the rack in place using a seat belt for transport. Once in place, the rack held everything securely and handy. Once sat on my service bench it holds the gun securely for service and adding accessories. I especially like using it with my LCS SK-19 .30 caliber air rifle for pest culling. It is helpful when I need to inspect or replace O rings.The rack's construction is robust, holding the guns at a great angle for transport and servicing. While it works great for transporting guns this way, it is CRITICAL that you check your state and local laws to determine IF and HOW you can transport guns in this manner.Bottom Line: This seat-mounted or service bench mounted rack is a handy accessory for gun owners seeking to transport and service their guns efficiently. Its sturdy design protects the finish and keeps the guns securely in place. It is best to measure to make sure your gear will work together and confirm you are able to lawfully transport this way. It works great as a bench rack too, so I keep it handy. I recommend it.

It works but has issues.Vinyl is too thick for easy 'tool' access.Yes it holds them tight - a bit too tight.Rack rocks more than it should when loaded.I can not understand why it costs anywhere near $200I still plan on using it this season but I'm not loving the idea and I have a feeling it won't be around next year.
