I looked long and hard for a tire with a more aggressive tread design than the Turfmaster tires that came on my Hustler Raptor 60" ZTR mower. I have had a problem since day one with the steep grade of my front lawn. When I would mow the front lawn, if the lawn was not completely dry, my mower would turn left into the ditch because the rear tires would slip. This mower came with a 20x12-10 tire for the rears. I could not find ANY tires in that size. After carefully measuring the rear wheel opening, I found that the Kenda Bear Claw in a 22x12-10 would fit without any modification. I just got done mounting them today and took them for a ride in the snow-covered back yard. All I will have to do when I service the mower for the upcoming mowing season is re-level the deck. This seller shipped VERY fast. So far this looks like the best solution to my problem.

Installed these on a zero turn mower. My mower will now climb any hill without slipping and no longer gets stuck in mud. Down side is they can tear up grass if you are not careful. However the traction is worth it to me. Thanks

First off like a lot of the reviews I read the tires were very deformed when I got them. Seems like they press them together and then store them. Had to pry them apart. Was worried that I would have to let them sit in the sun/heat up for a few days before mounting them. But I had a ride that weekend and wanted them on before so I mounted them the next morning and even though it was still cold out they really were not that bad to mount/seat beads. They will relax out and mount nice. Tires are very tough, have put almost 6 hours of ride time on them so far and I'm very pleased with them overall. Big upgrade over stock tires. Also shipping was very fast. Said up to two weeks but they showed up in 2 days.
