I had several years of Trulicity auto injectors lying about and most places that accept sharps for disposal only take them in specific sharps containers--OR anything that can be sealed up. But PEN style injectors are big and don't fit in typical sharps containers. This one has a BIG slot and is around the size of a kitchen trash bin. It has a big slot at the top, too, so you can easily fit several pens in at a time.I'd be filling this up with several years worth and then taking it all to a special disposal site. I'm glad I found this super-large size.
