I have collected 5 of these planters so far. Several I have had a number of years. They have withstood extreme summer heat, several hurricanes, and general all around usage. I love the reservoir. Very handy in times of drought and watering restrictions.I add liquid fertilizer to the reservoir to help the plants.

Very easy to assemble, once the legs are on it has a good height, I had no broken parts so maybe they have improved on how they pack it. Works perfect for my apartment deck, would buy again.

I should have listened to the other reviews. The product came in a flimsy box and all four corners of the container Ware either broken or cracked.. The floater tube does not fit securely into the bottom of the water well so you have to hold it while you’re packing the dirt around it which I did, but then it came loose. It is not well built. It’s probably better to find a better quality planter.

I have two of these planters which I ordered a year or two ago. The ground in our area is very rocky and it is difficult to plant anything. I wanted flowers and these planters are right outside my sunroom windows, so I can enjoy the beauty of the flowers I plant. They are very sturdy. Excess water is drained out by the spigots on the side of the planters. I would recommend them.

I like this item and I have bought 2 of them. Each one looked like they had been dropped and the corner was cracked pretty badly on the outside and some on the inside. My husband patched it with a metal band, some duct tape and glue. I hate to have to send something like this back and wait for another one, which could very well be in the same condition. I will not order any more from here. I have 2 older ones and they have held up really nice.

Used my planter as a mini pond. Was not made to be used this way, but turned out to be perfect for what I wanted. Easy to empty with drainage plug and can hold water to the top. Added sponge filter and aquatic plants. Removed reservoir cover and water level indicated. Currently working very well.

I tried a less expensive similar concept planter and the plastic was much thinner and more brittle. This planter is worth the extra cost! It holds up over the years (my friend has had hers for several years!) and my plants are flourishing! Critters are not munching on my plants and the self watering keeps my plants from drying out in our hot summer. Plants I have in mine that are thriving are celery, cherry tomato’s (although I did add some stakes to support them), peppers, basil, sage and tarragon. I would highly recommend this for herbs! I may try carrots next summer since those usually come out stunted in the ground. Love this planter!!!

I used 2 of these during the summer of 2020. I have always wanted to grow vegetables, but I never had enough space in my flower beds. I used one to grow carrots, and one for sugar snap peas. This is a very durable product that can take a lot of weight. These have several benefits - a dedicated space to grow specific plants, and they are tall enough to keep my dog and the neighborhood bunnies out of them! I don’t use the drainage plug - we receive enough rain that I prefer the excess water keeps flowing out of the planter. (Keep this in mind when you are positioning the planter). Also - these hold a LOT of potting soil, so make sure you have it in position before you fill it, as it will be extremely difficult to move once the soil is damp. I emptied mine, cleaned them, and put them away for the long, cold winter. I bought two additional planters for 2021 - can’t wait until spring!!!!
