Took the key fobs to our local Tucson dealer, and the dealer was unable to program either key fob. it's unfortunate that the sellers website does not tell you up front, that this specific model car requires dealer programming. Its only after you receive the item, that you find out that dealer programming (and fee) will be required.

This is my second set within one year. After one FOB died, I purchased a second set. One of the new FOBs is DOA. Yes I replaced the batteries. Let's hope these hold out for awhile, yes the are much cheaper than going to the dealership. it's also in my favor that I have a programmer. I would be very disappointed if I had to pay a dealership twice.

I used this to program for my car because I didn't have one. It does feel cheap but this is way better than spending like $60 for one. I recommend if you need spare or just on a budget.

These remotes work great, feel good in the hand, easily programed using my Autel AP200 Bluetooth device. My daughter now has two remotes for her new to her 2007 Chevy Cobalt.

Well I have them , that is just the beginning , now I have a week long wait to see if they will program to my car. Otherwise they have no value . So I guess the purchase is merely a step in the process. , but it iwas a good purchase price
